This company is a great housekeeping services. Their prices are reasonable...not too expensive but not cheap either. They do a great job though. They send out a team of 3 or more cleaners to get the job done. They will even loan your dishwasher and change your bed sheets! I was so impressed with this company. Each team that comes has a leader on it so they check everything and make sure it's done right and all. It's great!

A to Z Housekeeping has been under new ownership since July 2007. As new owner I have aggressively changed the approach of the business and put customer service and quality as our main goals. I believe we have done a great job in transforming the company to an excellent housecleaning company.
I encourage you to give us a chance to see that we have indeed turned things around.

I called A to Z to get their "Move-Out" package on an apartment I had rented and they quoted me a flat fee of $189, which I agreed to. The then called back with a one hour window in which the crew was supposed to arrive. 5 minutes after the hour had passed, I got a call from the manager and she told me that it would be a while and she would have to call back with a new time. When the crew got there an hour late, one of them walked around the apt for about 30 seconds and called the manager and then handed the phone to me where the manager proceeded to tell me the apt was in bad shape and they would have to charge $266 to do the cleaning. I told them to get lost and hired another cleaning company.

Do not believe the price they quote you over the phone.

My husband and I wanted the apartment we just moved out of to be cleaned. The apartment is only 900 sq feet and wasn't the dirty other then the carpets really needing to be vacuumed. When I got the quote they said there move out special was 165.00. They said as long as the apartment was 100% cleaned out and water was turned on it would only be 165.00 I got a call from the company stating the cleaners were there and it was dirtier then they thought. I asked what was dirtier then they thought, they said our grease hood was really greasy and would take quite awhile to do. They told me there were no restrictions, I even offered to not have the grease hood done. They wanted to charge me almost 300 dollars to have a small, empty apartment cleaned. Very bad service, and very rude to speak with.

I hired this company to come and do a "deep cleaning", which they describe on their website as, "The first time we schedule your home for regular cleaning, we will Deep Clean your home to get your home as clean as possible. Deep Cleaning includes all applicable services included in our Complete Regular Housecleaning Service, as well as inside and behind all major appliances, and behind and under all (movable) furniture. Our cleaners will get everything, top to bottom and inside & out. We start at the top with the ceiling fans & light fixtures and work our way down to the floors. Special attention is given to corners, edges and all those other places that dirt hides!"
I planned on using them for regular weekly or bi-weekly cleaning if they did a good job on the initial cleaning job. Our house is less than 1600 square feet, has no children, no carpet and only one cat who lives inside all the time. We also clean regularly.
Member Comments: I requested a Saturday cleaning because I wanted to be home the first time. The cleaning crew was scheduled to arrive between 1:00 pm and 2:00. I called at 2:10pm when they had not yet arrived. I was told that they were on their way. They arrived at 2:30. I had to leave at 4:30 to attend an evening charity function. When I returned that evening, I found many areas that had not been cleaned. I tried to call the office as instructed by the paperwork, and received a message that the mailbox was full. To make a long story short, the company sent the "cleaning ladies" out two more times, the house was never completely cleaned, they charged us over $300 and never made it right. I hired an individual house cleaning lady, who charged us $100 for biweekly cleaning and my house was spotless when she finished. I left a message for the owner of A to Z Housecleaning to call me so I could report the results and he never called me back. I filed a complaint with the BBB. At first the BBB was prompt in following up but then when the owner of the company defended his company by lying about me and making statements that were unsubstantiated, the BBB let it drop. CHECK THE REPORTS ON BBB. MANY MORE THAN OTHER CLEANING COMPANIES!

I hired A to Z Housekeeping to clean my residence. I made the mistake of taking a verbal estimate from the owner. After the work was completed, I was presented a bill for $100 more than the quote. I phone the office and was verbally abused by the president of the company. I filed a BBB complaint for the customer service, after we settled on the original quoted price. Now the company is threatening to charge me for the inflated price since a complaint was launched. This company is the worst that I have ever dealt with in my life. Do not use A to Z.

I've been doing real estate for a very long time and use cleaning services frequently for rentals, flip homes,etc. The two services I use were busy at the time so I called AtoZ. I heard they weren't that great but I needed someone to do the work. So, against my better judgement, I reviewed and hired them. Big mistake. The cleaning itself was moderate. One appliance surface was ruined by a cleaner and another appliance had a part broken off. I had them repaired and, to their credit, they paid for it. But, then there was a discrepancy regarding estimated payment for a square foot quote. All in all, it took almost three months from the cleaning to sorting out money issues. Trust me, it's just easier to find another cleaning company than go through the inconvenience of dealing with A to Z Housekeeping.

PROS: OK personal interaction
CONS: Bad service after the contract is signed.

I use them often to assist in housekeeping on special occasions and holidays. They generally send a group of 2-4 people depending on the work and they get everything done within a short period of time. Moderately priced service that leaves your house looking like new.
