Our family just had to make the toughest decision ever....putting down our adorable minpin Jude due to his body riddled with illness. We were going to another (corp.) clinic who wanted to not only admit him, but run about 5k dollars worth of test/surgeries. Dr. Lowrance showed so much compassion to us as NEW Patients, it brought me to tears. She was honest and gave her full attention and heart to the situation. I could see it in her face, her eyes, she meant everything she said, from her medical standpoint, and from her heart. I will be recommending this clinic to everyone I know. Even though we are hurting right now, knowing we did the right thing in a place that cares makes the pain easier. Thank you Dr. L and all the wonderful staff at CHAC. I will be back soon.

We have always been impressed with Dr. Schleappe and the staff at Caring Hearts. We have taken all of our pets there for care whether it be for check-ups and shots or true illness since they opened the new facility 7+years ago. I don't see how I could feel more secure with my animals anywhere else.

Vetrinary care can be expensive at times. The staff always let us know what the costs were in a professional manner before anything was done, and made sure that we knew exactly what needed to be done to care for our pets afterwards.

I cannot see how JJP could have rec'd the service they said they did. It just simply doesn't seem possible.

I'll keep coming and will continue to tell everyone I know that Caring Hearts is the best place to bring your pet in the East Valley!

I would like to clarify the review of JJP and the service he said did not exist. He did ask to see the doctor and she was in an exam room so there was a delay. When JJP was informed there would be a wait it was not acceptable to JJP. All pets that have a surgical procedure receive discharge instruction just as you would from a human hospital. The discharge instructions encourage the pet owner to take responsibility for their pet and check and care for the wound site to ensure proper healing.

Clients are informed if there are any issues after hours to contact a local emergency clinic because Caring Hearts is not staffed 24 hours. Very few veterinary clinics make sure the clients know this. Caring Hearts has it posted on the front door. Caring Hearts Animal Clinic has nothing to hide. Tours are available anytime during business hours. Caring Hearts Animal Clinic is run similar to human medical facilities.

We are an animal hospital that makes appointments, urgent care that handles walk-in emergencies and a hospital that performs medical, surgical, and dental procedures. If you call with an illness, you will be offered the chance to come in the same day to get your pet the medical attention they may need. The doctors and staff take animal medical care very seriously. Caring Hearts Animal Clinic has continued to strive to keep unconditional love affordable by not raising prices even though every supplier has increased prices by 10-25%.

In fact Caring Hearts has lowered the prices of medications such as Heartgard, Rimadyl, and pet food to help our clients afford their pet's health care. Vaccinations have remained the same price for over 15 years. This hospital offers appointments before 8AM and after 5PM plus they are open on Saturday. One of the technicians is actually a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Mexico who is working as a technician while he completes the testing the USA requires for his DVM. One certified technician has been employed over 15 years. The other certified technician has been employed almost 5 years. So they do know what they are talking about and how to provide quality client service and animal medical care.

Dr. Schleappe (the owner) takes the time to personally involve himself when an issue is brought to his attention by our clients. The fact that you were out of town shortly after a surgical procedure, did not follow discharge instructions, noticed your pet developed a complication and had to be treated in another town is unfortunate. If this had been human medicine it would not be expected that the original doctor pay another bill that was due for medical care that was needed in another town.

Go into a local grocery store or major department store you may find 1 or 2 people working the register. Caring Hearts has 3 staff members in the reception area. Even in this economy we are committed to attempt to provide superior client service. The Schleappes recently gave 2200 backpacks to local schools with school supplies. They adopt many, many families during the holidays, hand out food boxes, and assist the local school as much as they can through out the year.

Giving back to the communities we serve is a huge priority to us and one that is done without regard to media coverage. JPP also failed to disclose we asked him the name of the vet that saw his pet so that we could speak with them and get the records. This information was never received. Please take a tour and make your own decisions. I encourage anyone reading his review to make their own decision and check us out. Tours are available any time.

I received very poor service, they employee technicians that were very unprofessional, and in the end I had to bring my dog to an emergency veterinarian as his wound opened up and was infected. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone seeking surgical procedures for their animals.

While this group of veterinarians may talk a good game, how they pride themselves on customer service, their ability to serve as an emergency room and urgent care for animals, etc. etc.. In the end it??s all about the bottom line and covering themselves in case of lawsuit.

I had surgery performed on my dog, which had to have fatty masses removed and extensive dental work performed. After experiencing appalling customer service, not being able to speak or visit with the Doctor even though I had asked several times, and witnessing the lack of knowledge and professionalism by the technicians, Dr. Lowrance and her team were already ranking very low with me.

The day after the sutures were removed I found my self in an emergency veterinarian??s clinic having a hole the size of my fist being closed in my dog??s chest. It was this emergency veterinarian that raised severe doubt in their abilities as surgeons after listing off the items that could have been done differently.

I contacted the owner of Caring Hearts Animal Clinic, Dr. Schleappe, soon after this debacle to make him aware of my concerns and ask that they cover at least a portion of the emergency vet bills. This was met with a severely defensive nature and a concerning lack of care for the situation. It was clear the Doctor was trying to cover his practice and stated in no uncertain terms that they would not cover any portion of the bill. This must be the customer service they pride themselves on?

It??s sad really!

The drs we have worked with are patient, caring and knowledgeable, as well as the staff. They ask me each time if we have any more questions! We have taken in our cat and small dog for ck-ups/immunizations, an emergency visit, neuter, and the boarding services. At all times service by all was comforting and a good value. I too appreciated the divided wait room for my nervous pets.

The Dr's there are so caring and wonderful! They will go out of their way to make sure you know all your options that are important in your pet's care. The staff is friendly and caring. They make you feel right at home during your entire visit. I would say the number one place for veterinary care in the valley! Very affordable! State of the art facility! Can't beat it!

We recently got a puppy and looked into a vet near home. We live near Baseline where they are located so we tried it out. I like how the waiting room is divided for privacy with your pet. The vet and staff were nice. I am going to continue taking my puppy here.

They recenlty relocated their facility and I was very impressed. From the very beginning, I was happy. Their waiting room has divided areas so you are able to sit down with your animal without the sometimes annoying barking back and forth. It made my wait much more comfortable and relaxing. Their staff is very friendly and their doctors I believe give you all your options so that you don't feel pressured into paying for more than you are comfortable. I am very happy with the care of all four of my animals.

The vets are Caring Hearts are great. You can tell they really love what they do and they care about your animals. I had to take my dear little dog in for some ear problems and the Dr. explained the problem the cause and some different solutions! They always give a call back to see how things are going! They really are caring!!

I have been taking my dogs to Dr. Schleappe for years. He has a true "Caring Heart" for animals. I trust him implicitly with my pets and am always confident he knows what he is doing. He always recommends the easiest way to go whenever possible. And what a way he has with dogs! I have a shelter dog, Shepherd/Border Collie mix, who has trust issues with people she doesn't know (and even with some she does). Dr. Schleappe had no problem examining her and there was no stress to her at all! As long as he is there and I have pets - that's where we go!

Pros: Dr. Schleappe

Cons: Little Pricey - but they all are.
