The Chinese Cultural center is small but atleast we have one in Phoenix. The architecture and grounds are not typical to Arizona - so if you need a change of scenery, it's fun. There is a good variety of Chinese food in the area - but call ahead if you are worried about it being expensive!
PROS: A cultural experience
CONS: I wish that Phoenix had an even bigger cultural center

Unless you consider 4 different Chinese restaurants in one center to be a "cultural experience," the Chinese Cultural Center is not for you. It is merely a shopping center with a grocery store, offices, a very exquisite bridal shop and the aforementioned restaurants. There's not really a sense here of what Chinese culture is all about... no art, music or museum.

There is nothing like this place in town. It is a great place to take children to learn about the culture. Everyone who goes here is great, as well as the people who work here. Parking is not a problem, and there is a large variety of things to do here.
5If you are looking for a cultural experience, this is the place. from the ethnic grocery store, to the restaurants, to the landscaping, this is a little peice of another world right here in phoenix. pretty cool.
