I liked this place. I found it by chance when I needed a place to stay for a couple weeks. I wasn't sure about the area at first but this was the nicest I could find in my budget. I liked that they had a security gate and on the website it said they have cameras - you can even check them out in the office-- prety neat!

the manager is nice and she was welcoming. the coffee in the morning is the best part so i never bought a coffee maker. its a good price, even though it is a little higher than places close to it offering the same thing-- but remember you get what you pay for and this is much better.

Tremendous Value! Check thier website for all the "freebies"! Great Staff! Residents of this community are caring real people! There is safety within this gated community! Two Blocks off of I-17. Stayed here for 5 weeks would have stayed longer, but, I gained employment 20 miles away! I will/would consider this community setting for retirement purposes!

What started as a three week stay at Anchorage Point, ended up being a three month stay, as my husband sold our house and and tied-up loose ends back in Michigan. I found-out about the complex here, so I figure I'll put my two-cents in, since I enjoyed my time there so much (sorry, honey.) I found the apartment itself to be clean and comfortable. It was furnished, so I didn't have to bring too much with me. The free cable was great and the free internet was a Godsend. The grounds were always tidy, with landscapers making weekly appearances. The pool was crystal clear. I enjoyed using it a lot during the hot Phoenix Summer. And when my kids visited, they enjoyed it, too. The laundry room was available when I needed it, and always kept sanitary. I always felt safe at Anchorage Point, with video cameras throughout the complex and security gates at all of the entrances. There were a lot of stores and Metrocenter Mall very close-by, so shopping was never a problem. Plus, it's right on the busline. They also offered some things I never imagined when I started looking for a temporary home... complimentary coffee, daily meals at nearby restaurants and a free gym membership, to work-off all of that free food. Free long distance came in handy, as did the fax and copy service at the office. The management and staff was friendly and really made me feel at home. And they bent over backwards for me anytime I had any concerns. The neighbors were friendly, too. They even helped me move-in!

I stayed at Anchorage Point for a few months and really enjoyed my stay. I stayed on a week to week basis and never had to sign a lease. I thought the staff was very friendly & helpful. I loved using the free dining coupons and pass to Pure Fitness each day. They apartments had free cable & internet too! The apartments were furnished and well kept. The location was pretty good with easy access to the I-17. I would recommend this place to others.

4 out of 5 stars in my book. I'll try to explain as concisely and as objectively as I can. I moved out from my ex's and decided to go for a place with a short term lease "just-in-case" of reconciliation. I started off renting week-to-week and discovered that I liked my new found freedom so much i switched to month-to-month which is cheaper. The clientele is primarily short term business people, students, or people from out of state waiting for their new homes to be built.
The complex is well manicured; once a week a lawn service crew comes in and fine tunes the place to keep it looking immaculate. I know driving by the complex the exterior looks as unappealing as any other apart complex in the area, but once you get into the interior section it is esthetically beautiful especially the courtyard and pool area. I read some of that hogwash about management and it just isn't true. Mary and Paul are very professional and courteous. If there is something needed to be fixed they have maintenance there usually that same day. If there is a noise complaint they resolve it with a warning, which I'm sure can escalate to an eviction. I have no problem with that, who would? Safety wise it's as good as any if not better. They do a background check on all potential renters if they don't cut the mustard they don't get in. I like that because most places just do a credit check. I was a cop for 21 years; so trust me I am very aware of good and bad neighborhoods in this city. This is a good one.Now the reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's old, and like all thinks new they eventually become old. But due to that the rent isn't expensive and there isn't a long term lease. The amenities truly outdo any other place I've lived at before this one. Utilities, cable+HBO, wifi, gym membership, free meals at various restaurants in the area daily, fax, phone, and coffee. If you do the math this place is a comfortable, inexpensive transition to your next home.

Although we enjoy living here, there are a few points you need to know about this place. It's true that Mary, the manager, has her favorites here. And if you ever get on her bad side or complain about a tenant who she is friends with, you will be evicted.I've seen this many times while living here. There is a clique here and if you don't belong, watch yourself. They do keep the grounds clean and the pool too.The maintenance is good but sometimes slow. All in all,it is a nice place to live.As far as some of the opinions expressed here, they are from Mary's little group of friends. And we all know who they are.

WOW! I recently move to Anchorage Point since my house was being remolded in Glendale. I did not want to sign a long term lease or go to a hotel. The application process was quick and easy and I had some where to call home again. The residents in the community and the extremely helpful staff make you fell like your part of one big family. I met some unique residents that have been their for years and are glad of all the improvements the new management team has done. " The new change in staff and company have made this a much better and safer place to live" was said from a former residents. The amenities where Great, I had everything I can asked for from TV (74 channels) to Wi-Fi internet and coffee in the office, everything was included well except for linens and dishes but I had that myself. The feeling you get at this community is Welcoming not like a regular apt. complex that no one knows there neighbors or have the slightest idea what around them. I would recommend this place to everyone I know!!

I have been living here since may 09 and was happy being here for the most part. However, there is a guy living here that is fooling around with the manager. He is loud and publicly argues with other tentants, he plays his music loudly early in the moring (5-6am) and management hasn??t done anything about after people complained. The evicted people who he has conflict with, but other he is allowed to stay. He is racist; making comments about black people and white people. The manager said she evicted him, but he is on the property as a ??guest?. The policy here is that anyone who is ??evicted? cant return to the property for security reasons, but he is still LIVING here. Furthermore, he is still causing problems for other tenants. Nothing has been done to correct this problem. Also, I told the manager about my refrigerator and oven not working 4weeks ago. She did nothing. I demanded that she fix my appliances and nothing. I had to ask the assistant manager to fix it and it was fix in 3 days. The property is well maintained, but the manager (mary) is playing favorites. If mess with Mike (tenant who cause problems), you will be evicted. She bends the rules for Mike, but follows it to the letter when it comes to everyone else. Mike is in the office violating privacy of the other tenants by sitting in the office and listening to the other tenants issues. Mary doesn??t say anything to him about hangin around at the office. Several residents have complained about Mike, but find themselves out on the streets. She evicted a disabled American vet because he asked Mike to turn down his music. Mike took offense and told Mary, and she kicked the disabled person out without notice. I asked for the owner??s contact phone number and she refused to give it to me. They only had an email address they said they could give. I would not recommend this place although the property is well maintained and the amenities are great.

Recently transfered jobs to Phoenix. I did not want to have a long term lease because I was new in the area I mean who wants to go to a strange place and sign a 6 or 12 month lease and find out later that was not the right place for you? Great deal best its Weekly, Furnished Utilities, Internet, Cable, all in one price. Very helpful and friendly staff. Well kept property. One of the best ones around the area. No complaint here a very good experience. I would recommend this place to anybody.

if you see any positive reviews on this place on the internet, its all a fake and untrue. positive reviews are made by the employees in the front office to cover up bad reviews. this place is filled with criminals at night all the time. the front office people are in on it also. alot of sexual offenders live on property sense the owner himself is a past offender. never live here.

This is probably the best choice for short term housing in the given neighborhood. Anchorage Point worked out perfectly for me as I only need a place to stay for 6 weeks. There are tenants there who have lived there for years, but I recommend it for a more temporary basis. Definitely not a five star apartment, but for the price was a good deal. I liked the fact that they provide free cable and internet. I have found that most property lack this crucial amenity and the ones that do offer it costs a fortune. Management was friendly and helpful. Quick move in and out with no problems. I was pleased with my experience and would recommend it to anyone.

Big improvement from the last time I stayed here 8 months ago and much better than any other apartment complex in the area. The property grounds were cleanly kept and the rooms upgraded significantly. Free upgraded Cable this time around too. They also added new pool furniture which is perfect for laying out in the Phoenix sun. For the price you are getting a great bargain. Just check out any of the other properties in the area and you will see why Anchorage Point is the best pick. I was surprised on how affordable they still are considering all the improvements. Thought for sure they would be much more expensive than the other properties, but there really wasn't that big of difference. All you have to do is show proof of income and you have yourself a nice place to stay!

I recently relocated to Phoenix and picked Anchorage Point to stay at because of their affordable weekly apartment rentals. The staff was extremely friendly and the property was very well kept. My apartment had recently been remodeled and was perfect for my short term needs. Rumors are that the property recently switched management companies and went through a huge remodel turning it into a great place to live. I would recommend Anchorage Point to anyone with temporary housing needs. Although I only lived there temporary, there are tenants who have lived there for years so if your looking for somewhere with a flexible lease and that is extremely affordable this is the place for you.

Pros: furnished apartments, clean, pool, BBQ areas, free Internet and free cable TV

.

We spent a week there in October of this year. It's an apartment complex that rents daily, weekly and monthly, sort of like a hotel. We chose the furnished 1 bedroom. On our first night there, our toilet would not stop running, so we called the emergency number they had given us. We were told to just mop the water up and someone would be out tomorrow, that this was not an emergency. Ok, whatever. On the second night, there was a shooting in the room next door, and the next night, we were accosted by 3 dirty nasty prostitues on our way into the apartment, looking for some 'rock'. This area did not look like a bad place, with the exception of this complex.
