I wanted to reduce my Pick up from twice a week to once since the kids grew up and moved out and W.M. would reduce the Pick ups but not the bill. So switched to Saguaro Environmental and been with them two years and I am very happy. They pick up earlier in the day and on days when the other company does not. I only had one problem when they forgot the recycle bin and they came out to get it the next day after I called. On the whole I am very happy I switched.

I gave them a 1 star because there isn't a zero rating. They skipped my trash can on account there was a small amount of trash sticking out over the lid. When I called they gave me nothing but problems and no solutions. Customer service is rude

8 times within a year, when i was a customer, they missed collecting my trash. No biggie, trash bin was not that full. but it was annoying nevertheless. But whatever.

Five months ago though, I cancelled my account with them as i had to move. Gave them my credit card info for payment and everything. Five months later i get a collection letter saying i owe them money. what???

So i called, it must be a mistake.. the person on the other line was rude and said, "well there's no payment showing here". Well okay, that's why im calling.. i have no issues paying it if i owe it but at least send me a letter saying the payment didnt go through or something. She says, "well there's not even an attempt at payment". Well, then, miss attitude, is it my fault that you guys didnt run the payment when i gave you my card info? Would it have been too hard to send me a letter saying, oh sorry, you owe us this much coz we didnt run it. and guess what? more attitude instead of an apology... instead, a snarky comment saying she wanted me to look at all my bank statements to prove i paid. a little good customer service would have been nice. but all i got was rudeness, and an afternoon of being annoyed.

I have been with this company when I first moved into the area 2 plus years ago. Didn't realize I had other choices so I went with what a few people had in the block.

From the beginning it just wasnt a pleasant experience. I mean all the TRASH guys do are come pick up the trash BUT let me tell you when it comes to having to call in OH MY GOD, dont even bother. They tell you (Customer Service Rep) they will do things and then you end up calling back more and more cause things arent getting done when CUSTOMER SERVICE people state they will do certain things. After 2 years and a customer service rep calling me some names when I told her to hold on cause I was looking for my bill, I never put the phone down and got to listen to her bad mouth me ( I wonder if they record there phone calls?) And I do KNOW her NAME it begins with a ""B""! Im very good with names, so dont think when you ANNOUNCE yourself Im gonna forget especially when you bad mouth ME!!! Anyhow to continue......

GUESS what I see in my drive way currently on MARCH 31. 2012..those colorful BLUE & GREEN Trash BINS!

Sad thing is...I even called yesterday to make sure they were picking up the bins and was told YEP!!!! Again CUSTOMER SERVICE needs a 101 course on how to really figure out what TO say and what NOT to say!!!!

P.S. By the way this company you pay for 3 months at a time. The new company I went with WM you pay 4 months at a time, and Im saving money!!!!!

Make sure you look at EVERYTHING before you choose a company, there are ALWAYS plenty of OPTIONS!!!!

we have had our service for a week(one pick up). we recieved a call today, we were informed the drivers could not back up down our one lane street. the week before we got our service, i watched a driver with no difficulty back up. it was saguaro too. we had already paid for several months. the company should teach all there drivers to back out. other companies have no problem. i do not recommend this company at all. i have read everything on the web site. nothing about drivers refusing service. very dissapointed.

Lately, one of the wheels on my garbage bin fell out, and I called to have it replaced. Turns out, they forgot and I still have a wheel-less garbage bin at home. The driver for Mariposa Trail is awful. The bins are always knocked over with recycling in them and it ends up all over the street. I am so tired of picking up glass that he allows to break all over the street. Some teach this guy how to do this job or replace him.

Have been using Saguaro Environmental for many years and have never had one problem. Very reliable! They have even called to notify us if our trash was not out on pick-up day. Have rarely needed to call them but when I have called the office they have been more than friendly and helpful. I am very surprised to read the bad reviews and I don't agree with them AT ALL! I would recommend them!!

Saguaro provides the worst trash service in Tucson. They often don't pick up our trash claiming it is too heavy. Why give your customers a large can and then tell them they can't fill it? I weigh 123 lbs and could dump the can! Maybe these guys need to work out. They often skip our house completely, leave a mess in the driveway, won't pick up the trash if their are leaves and branches in the can (come on Saguaro, not everyone has a weekly gardener), and are unreliable in their pickup time. Customer service is a joke. Would definitely not recommend.

If you decide to go with them, do yourself a huge favor and ask for a contract up front that lists their billing. if not, they will not tell you about all their hidden fees and charges and will bill you accordingly. and good luck trying to get customer service to help you. best advice:

I work for a company that has Saguaro pick up its recycling twice a week. However they rarely come except maybe once a month, and every three months or so I must call and complain that my recycling hasn't been picked up and it is full and that I haven't been able to use it for at least two weeks. They're response is that they're driver shows that we were closed or that he had actually picked up the recycling every week. We are open from 7:30-4:30 and they're driver shows that we were closed at 9:30 in the morning. Our company is nationwide and this kind of service is completely unacceptable. We are currently reviewing other options that will be more reliable and accountable.

I have used Saguaro Environmental for the past 2 years and never had a problem with them. Garbage is always picked up, never has been missed. One reason for no miss pick ups is because I put my can out the night before. Great CSR. Keep up the good work.

Totally arogant people in the management. Price increased all the time, I could not believe it. They would charge you for the air! Billing is old school and they do not accept American Express card. Service is a problem. I had a roll-off dumpster and a port-a-john, I would never rent from them again. Toilet was in horrible shape, rarely got cleaned and the roll-off driver when it was blocked by a vehicle, would just simply leave as soon as he saw it. On thop of that, for not servicing the dumpster, I was charged $100 trip charge
