excellent wine selection, this is such a great place for a great dinner

I love AJ's wine selection. I don't grocery shop here because it doesn't feel right - too organized and too pricey - but the wine and beer selection is wonderful and they truly know what they are talking about. I don't shop anyplace else for wine or beer. Their meat and seafood is very delicious and fresh, but pricey. If you want to impress someone though, order your meat and seafood from here and it comes out superb, I have been to several locations but highly recommend shopping here for your wine and beer. Excellent service and extremely knowledgeable staff.

Aj's is not your typical grocery store, and this location is one of the most upscale with every aisle, every display case containing something that will catch your eye and instill a desire to own what they have. It all represents a fine lifestyle, it makes you want to live a better life, purchasing those things they have. It's materialism at it's best. It's also marketing at it's best.

Even on Christmas Eve, one can count on being able to find at least one perfect gift. That's the thing about AJ's, they always have really terrific 'stuff'' and the groceries you need. They are my ace-in-the-hole so far as being the place I will look for hard to find specialty groceries & really wonderful everyday groceries.

I have used AJ's catering for a few special events. The food, service, and attention to detail has typically been superb. HOWEVER, when I recently had to talk with the 44th Street catering manager about a food item that had not been properly prepared, she went from being accommodating and personable to defensive, rude, and short-tempered in an instant. I was stunned by her demeanor, and based on that interaction, will no longer use this AJ's to cater any events.

Great selection of hard to find, gourmet items. I love to pick up one of their fancy deserts and claim to friends that I made it. They have a wide selection of unique produce also such as "Star fruit". They give so much to the community also.

I love having this AJ's location. Right next to my gym, so I can grab dinner or a salad bar or fresh sushi on the way home, or get a recommendation for a great bottle of wine, etc. AJ's has the best cuts of meat around as well, and awesome deli salads.

I love this store because of the selection. The bakery is great, and the deli has a big and fresh selection. The store is a little pricier but the staff is friendly. I also like their paper bags because the are strong and have handles making it easy to load and unload. They will also cater for parties, I call it in and they have it ready to go.

You can grocery shop, stop a get a quick lunch, or pick out an amazing dessert at this amazing store. All of their food is amazing however pretty pricey. I personally love getting gift certificates here because its such a good present
