Islands

Islands is very popular, with excellent gourmet burgers, chicken, tacos, salads and beverages, very nice tropical ambiance, and great service at very reasonable prices! What more can you ask? Plenty of parking too, and easy to get to from the I-60 freeway.

While I agree that having to pay extra for fries at a burger joint is silly, it doesn't detract from the experience for me. The burgerrs are wonderful, the atmosphere is fun, and the staff is friendly. By far the best sit-down burger in the Phoenix area!

If you are a guy, do yourself a favor and get a spot on the patio. The food is slightly above average, but there is a parade of gorgeous women walking back and forth all the time.

They have good burgers, and good fries. Nothing better than you can find at a regular sit down restaurant.

The patio is nicely decorated, and has a mister to help with the heat. This is where you want to be. Just sit back, have a beer and watch the parade of beautiful college girls go by.

This place would maybe be good if you were Tom Hanks coming off the Castaway Island, ribs poking out of your chest after a year of eating bark. The burgers are big but the prices are nearing extortion for what you get and the quality left me saying "eh".
Try Red Robin if you want a better selection of hamburgers that will make you say yum without robbing you blind. Even Wilson would agree with that!

I love Islands! Everything from their tacos, burgers and tortilla soup is wonderful! They have creative names for their scrumptous dishes! Bon Appetit!
