This place is great. I haven't had any problems since I moved in almost a year ago. The staff is so friendly and helpful every time I visit the office. Best apartments I have lived in by far.

So I'm not sure what's changed between the previous reviews and now, but I've had a totally different experience at La Serena.

I've found the complex in general and the apartment upon move in to be clean, tidy, and super quiet. Either my neighbors are all really light-footed, or the walls and floors are pretty well sound proof. Sure, there are the occasional sounds of doors closing (maybe I've heard it twice in the last month), but for the most part people are quiet and courteous. There are a lot of kids, and they play (as kids will do) in the afternoon and early evening hours, but I've never heard them after about 8pm or so. The fitness center is small but there aren't a lot of people using it so it's definitely decent. The office staff has been friendly, helpful, and kind so far. I haven't needed maintenance for anything yet, but the guys are all very friendly too when you see them about. The gates are held open during the rush hour times to help the flow of traffic, which is helpful.

I'd defininitely recommend this place to others looking for a place in the area. I checked out San Pedregal too, but found it to be way more expensive than it needed to be for what you get there. I think La Serena is way more value for the money!

From the outside it seems like La Serena @ Toscana would be a great place to live, atleast thats what our family thought. Shortly after moving in the ceiling caved in, and the toilet broke. Upstairs neighbors really loud, we complained numerous times and nothing was ever done about it. The grassy area outside is consistenly filled with dog feces. The office staff is rude but on a good note the maintaince is really friendly. It might take them a week to get to your apartment but hey atleast their nice about it! I would not recommend this complex to anyone. If you want a nice place check out San Pedregal, we lived there previously and it's hard to compare the two because San Pedregal was so great.

Pros: price is decent

Cons: poorly maintained

> This place has a lot of kids which is good if you have a little one or one(s).
> Finding parking spots if you have a second vehicle can be quite difficult.
> The pools and hot tubs get closed down alot
> It is a gated community, and for the most part the gates are open due to technical difficulty
> The managment's services are at par at best.
> The Scenary outside the apartments are pretty
> Friendly Neighborhood
> Great Location

> Overall, the price is fair the location is great the amenities are poor, but there are better apartments to live on Bell Road then this. Strongly suggest that you find somewhere else to live
