My husband and I rented from Long Realty for 2 years while stationed in Sierra Vista. The staff was always great! Last year during the monsoon season we got a leak in the roof. They were very quick to respond and sent a company out right away to fix the problem even though it was a Sunday. They have very nice houses. I highly recommend them!! Professional and fun!~

I have water all over my bathroom floor from a leaking toilet fixture. Long realty SMS categorized this as a "non-emergency". Meanwhile I'm mopping up water every hour. I took two days off of work to deal with the issue and wait on the repair guy to come by. He calls me the evening on the second day and tells me he can't make it. I told him he shouldn't be calling me, but Long Realty so that someone who actually had availability could do the work. Long Realty then cancelled the work order and submitted a new one to a new company who can't arrive until the 30th of May. Eight days of dealing with water on my floor. I would say that's a health issue. The Long Realty representative also stated they don't actually discuss availability with the contract company. Instead of doing their due diligence and providing proper service follow through, they simply throw a note "over the wall" to some random company for repairs.

What's more I tried weeks ago to have Long Realty turn on my Evaporative Cooling system. They refused, stating they would only complete the effort when *they* were ready. So now, I'm locked at my house for multiple days in soaring temperatures with no ventilation system.

Update: By the third day I had purchased a wrench so I could shut the water off to the house and go to work. When I arrived home that evening there were muddy footprints in the bathroom, an oil spot an in the driveway and DIP SPIT ON MY WALLS.

Long realty decided to enter my home with no notice, after telling me I "had a second toilet"- that this was no emergency, and perform an act of vandalism. I turned in my 30 day notice and left the spit for them to clean.

They actually charged me to clean their own spit (the rest of the house was spotless).

When I moved in the house it needed maintenance badly and I was assured this was going to be taken care of. The fence in the back yard was literally falling down and of it only got partially fixed because the neighbors put up a new fence. The part in the back yard is propped up with a rock. The house was also not clean, I was told that they would have the house cleaned or I could clean the house and when I moved out they would not charge me. I would only have to have the carpets cleaned and the house sprayed for bugs. Which I did and provided them with copies of my receipts. Decided to go ahead and clean it myself because then it would at least be to my standards. Should never have made that agreement. I was charged a BIG portion of my deposit for cleaning things that were not done when I moved in. In fact the house was cleaner when I moved out. When I called Long Realty I was told that another agent had probably told me that and they were sorry but there was such a turn over that the agent was probably no longer with the company. I waited an hour for Connie to call me back. Finally called Connie back and was told Judith Figueroa no longer worked there. Connie said the oven showed as dirty when I moved in. Though they had on paper that the oven was dirty that was accepted by their agent, I was told I should have taken a photo. They have proof on paper that the oven was dirty when I moved in. I do not feel that I should have been charged for cleaning the oven. The agent didn't take photos before using a portion of my deposit to clean the oven.

Excellent Service !!!! I transferred in with the military. I communicated with their office prior to my arrival and they were more than accomodating with helping me find what I wanted. When I arrived after a very long drive, the leasing agent stayed after hours to show me houses. She was very knowledgable about the houses and I signed a lease the next morning. I would recommend this company to anyone transferring in. Very military friendly =)

I rented from them for a year. I was living out of state and found their listings on the Internet. When I moved into the house it was a mess. It looked as though no one had lived there for years. There were broken blinds in the windows and curtains that had a thick layer of dust on them. I took down all the blinds and replaced them with brand new ones. I had to replace a shower handle that was missing. The guest bathroom toilet was broken. Property from the previous tenant was left behind. And when the water company came to turn on the water, the garage full of my stuff was flooded due to a pipe that had burst in the winter freeze.. I cleaned the heck out of that house to make it habitable. When I bought my new house, I moved out. Before I moved out I cleaned the house very well, and paid 100 dollars to have the carpets cleaned. All I received back from my $875 security deposit was $125. The rest they kept for "full clean" and "full yard clean up". Do not trust them they will rip you off.

I rented from Long Realty for 9 months. I found a home I loved quickly and had very few issues with the home and when I did the maintenance people resolved the problems quickly. I did lose a bit of money from my security deposit but silly me I took a shower the day of my inspection and left soap scum and shampoo in the shower. No wonder they charged me! Ooops! What's great is they give you a specific handout during the lease that says each and everything you need to do to get all your deposit back. If you follow the rules then there shouldn't be any issues!

We were stationed in Sierra Vista for 9 months. The first time we went in to Long realty they were friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, the friendliness didn't last long. Every time after that that me or my husband went in it felt like they were progressively colder and colder to us. We were never late on rent at all and never called them to do any kind of repairs on the house. As we came upon time to move out, we vigorously scoured and scrubbed every inch of our home. And when our move-out walk through happened we were informed that we would be receiving only about half of our deposit back. I believe that our home was left in better condition than when we rented it. Anyway, I will never work with Long realty again, and I would never advise anyone to. If you must, then you need to examine every inch of your new home, and look for the things you don't even know are wrong, document the tiniest chip of paint out of the walls, because that seems to be the only way you will see your security deposit again.

We bought our hosue through them, they we really nice andup to date on every thing.And we were trying to do this between states the only thing I had to do was to sign the papers when I got here.

We rent our home through Long. We found our home so fast! We went in and picked up their listings, looked through them, picked a few and were able to see them, pick one and fill out the lease paperwork all in one day! Just make sure you get your rent in on time! If its not there before the first they charge you $50!
