Madison Avenue Intl Salon

I treated my mom and myself to a day at Madison Avenue and we were amazed at how well we were treated from the moment we walked in the door. Our massage and facials were great as well as our manicures and pedicures in a setting that was just gorgeous. There is a reason why they have been around and so successful for 10 years. I look forward to my next visit.

I paid for a full service shampoo and style that I did not completely receive. I called the manager to ask why I had to pay for a shampoo and style [$55] when all they did was quickly curl my hair [poorly at that] without a shampoo and her reponse for me was... "That is just the way it is." The manager could have cared less that I was not pleased. If the manager was uncaring at Madison, then I will make sure that everyone I know continues to go to Dolce Salon and Spa.

My favorite place to get my hair done since I moved to phoenix. I always get a great hair cut, so I don't even bother going anywhere else, even tho they are a little pricey. Super friendly, too.

First, I hate to mention how good Sonia is in their spa since I wouldn't want her to be booked up so much that I'm unable to get a quick appointment in. But, she is great and deserves a recommendation. For tints (brow/eyelash), she adds a quick neck, arm and hand massage (not sure if that's for all her clients). Therefore, she more than earns the extra tip. I was curious about her therapeutic massages, so she performed a quick (like 2 minutes) one to give me an idea of what it's like and I was impressed. I even purchased a one hour for my husband afterwards. He went to her and was equally satisfied.
I've also had my hair cut/tinted there and I was very satisfied. They don't take a long time and the same person does your cut & color (so you don't have to make separate appointments like at Toni & Guy). Overall, the location met expectations and exceeded them. I'd try them out at least once!
