don't let these kids on scottsdale touch your car. they told me they would install an amp for me on a sunday morning, but they wanted to be paid in cash. I thought i would still get a receipt, but no.

they had my car 6 hours that day and 3 the next. when i finally demanded my car back, after excuse after excuse, my fade and balance didnt work, only my back speakers worked, they didn't use the install kit I bought they used scrap wires, they broke my dash plate and my window controller on the drivers side.

Now I have no stereo, no amp that works, they broke parts of my car that will cost $250. to get replaced; and they want another stab at it. no way.

This place is a joke. Walked in Saturday to get a quote on an amp install, greeted by Chad P. the sales manager. I was pretty anxious to get my system going and came here primarily because this is the only place open on Sunday. I had installed most of my stuff myself but haven't had time to finish up my project. I was definitely wary of this place as it seemed pretty shady, but considering I already had most of the work done (just needed them to run 0 gauge through the firewall and mount the amps) I figured even these idiots couldn't screw that up. He quoted me a fair price but made it clear that he is doing me a huge favor by doing this on a Sunday because they are only open 5 hours (even though I was the only appointment and this should only take 2 hours max). I showed up the next day for my 11:30 am appointment, Chad acted like he's never seen me before and I had to explain all over what I was there for, he just looked at me and sighed, then looked at his watch like he didn't have time for me. I was 5 minutes early for my appointment but he said I was 4th in line behind some random walk-ins, wtf? He just told me to leave him the keys and they would "try" to get it done today, turned his back to me and went over to help some hoodlum with some $60 pioneer 6x9s. Didn't ask me what kind of car I had, what I'm putting in it, or what a respectable car audio dealer would do and come do a walk around of the car. He didn't even ask my name, I just gave him my cell number and left. Drove by 3 hours later, my car hadn't been touched so went in, the place was empty and my keys were just sitting out on the counter, at that point I was pretty pissed so just grabbed them and left. Luckily I never gave this place any of my money, nor would I ever. I have been involved in high end car audio for almost 15 years. I have thousands of dollars invested in my current system all top of the line JL audio and 2 sets of Focal KRX2 components ($1200/pair). My tweeters likely cost more than anything they even sell in their store and this douche can't even give me the time of day? Taking my business elsewhere, to someone who is actually knowledgeable of car audio and who wants my business. And to think I almost let these guys touch my Focals, f#%k that!

lazy, rude, overpriced, complet idiots. I had an alarm installed there and the alarms are way over priced that makes up for the 1 doallar install. The alarm in my truck goes off while driving my lights inside turn on randomly and ive been in twice to get fixed and nothing still. They do not give refunds you dont find that out untill after you pay. I dont want to take it in again i do not trust them they printed instruction of the internet to install and i found them under my seat. you can buy an alarm on amazon from authurized dealer for less than half price and you can go to best buy and have them install it for cheaper and at least they have a brain in best buy. Audio express is the WORST in the alarm buisness.

I'd been researching an upgrade for my Infiniti M35 for about a year. I checked all of the local shops and left without a reasonable solution. I went to Audio Express-Tempe and was introduced to Jeremy. He asked a lot of questions and was able to direct me to a system that met my needs from both a sound quality and financial standpoint. Without a doubt, he was the most knowledgable rep I encountered in my search. He put together a package and installed it the same day. I'm pleased to report that I'm very happy with the system they installed (twin Boston 12" subs, 2 kicker amps and two sets off Boston Pro component speakers). However, I was blow away by the install team and the sales efforts of Jeremy before, during and after the sale. The level of service I received was outstanding.

When I had my alarm system installed, there, it didn't work reliably from the start. I went back and had them look it over, they said nothing was wrong. I then started to poke around on my own and found that all the wiring had been done by wrapping the bare wire ends around fuses in the fusebox. No wonder it was unreliable. It took seven trips to finally get a proper installation, and they acted like I was asking for too much.

I wanted to replace my amp in my car, with a better amp. One of the sales guys looked at my amp in my car and suggested a better amp. So I asked how much would it cost to install such amp, and he quoted me a price. I told him that I would buy the amp else where and that I wanted them to install it. He said that was fine, and to bring it in. Three days later I showed up with the amp, and the installation price tripled. The sales person said that the price only held if I bought the amp from them. I'm at fault because I didnt get a written quote for the insallation from them. At the same time it wasnt like I went back three months later.

I bought a stereo at the Tempe location and had it installed per their "one dollar" installation. When I received my car from the installers I found only one speaker connected out of four. They told me it would cost me an additional $80 to install the other three speakers. How hard is it to just plug the wires in? They refused to do any additional work on the install without further payment. I installed the other three myself. The speaker wires were all I touched. Then the stereo started to blank out periodically, turns out they installed it incorrectly to the power source. I brought the car back for them to fix that, which they did, but although I had four speakers working when I arrived, two were working when I left, and again, they refused to plug in the other two without further compensation. Again, I took five minutes to open my dash and plug the wires in. Also, when I was next in line, waiting to get the bad install corrected, the guy at the counter pointed to the person behind me and said "May I help you?" and proceeded to help this customer first without even the slighted apology when it was my turn, again.

Even with the one dollar installation fee, the overall price of the equipment is expensive. Usually the prices are double the amount of the regular price.
