Antique Wedding House

The wedding was lovely, the food was decent, the staff was helpful. The two months we waited before anyone would return our calls concerning our photos was a nightmare. The photographer (Jerry Ferguson) had informed us it would take only two weeks. After a month of waiting we began to make phone calls to the Antique Wedding House to inquire about the photos. For two months our calls went unreturned. Finally, after our phone call threatening to go to litigation, our call was returned (within minutes) and our problem resolved (Our photos will be hand delivered tonight...hopefully). The Antique Wedding House gave untruthful excuses claiming phone calls had been returned and messages left...all of these claims are easily disputed by simply viewing my phone records. I absolutely do NOT recommend the Antique Wedding House due to the mishandling of our photos and the dishonest way they conduct their business.

Given the outrageous prices of nearly every wedding spot we checked out, my wife-to-be and I were getting dispirited in our search. If you think "Big Oil" is into price gouging, Congress needs to investigate the wedding business instead. Prices are ridiculous. It was therefore extremely refreshing to find The Antique Wedding House. It offers a reasonably-priced alternative to the assorted other wedding sharks.

The courtyard in which our ceremony took place was very nice. There are lots of little nooks for pictures. It's canopied and shaded. The courtyard is entirely bricked over. It's appealingly decorated with vines and plants and lattice. Everything was neat and well kept.

For the price, this place can't be beat. It offers a complete, full-service package. We barely had to do a thing in terms of wedding planning. It was nice to not have to worry about the details and leave practically everything to them, making for low stress event planning. The included photographer was accommodating and enjoyable to work with, as were the rest of the staff. I'd recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a nice wedding on a sane budget.

What a beautiful venue!! Charming and intimate, not overwhelming and stuffy. We have been to several events at this venue and found the grounds, service and pricing exceptional. The staff believe you should start a life with a memorable day and no credit card debt. Begin your life together at the wedding house without a stressful future.Gazebo garden setting for both ceremony and reception is gorgeous. Chapel seats smaller ceremonies. We love this place!!

After quite a bit of shopping, I chose this pretty garden location with knowledgeable, caring, and responsive staff. Even an early June wedding in Arizona was very comfortable with the covered patio and light misting system (used for the reception after the indoor ceremony). With many relatives on hand, we made a lot of impromptu demands of the staff which they handled easily. This venue helped make it the day to remember we wanted it to be.

I was trying to plan a wedding on a tight budget and decided to check this place out. BOY was I surprised. It really reminded me of the backyard of a mobile home. I understand that this place is antique butt he yard could use a remodel - especially if they want people to hold WEDDINGS there. The place looks dirty and unkept and the location leaves much to be desired. Splurge a little and pick a different site - I don't regret doing it at all. No photo ops here either!

We contacted several other choices and so glad we chose the
Antique Wedding House. They were very professional and yet as caring and friendly as if we were family. The Antique Wedding House was full of beautiful antiques which created fantastic photo opportunties inside and out on the grounds as well. Their service far exceeded the small cost and suggest you look no further than right here with Ray and Michele Hart!
