Ratings_icons Sun Devil Liquors is excellent

Sun Devil liquors is so convenient, right in the middle of Tempe. They have an incredible selection. Beers you can't get anywhere else in town that I know of!

Ratings_icons Amazing beer selection

On the surface this appears to be a place where you can get your giant bottle of Jack Daniels, which you can, but there is a huge selection of microbrewed beer. You can even buy them by the bottle which is a nice way to try lots of exotic beers. My favorite part is the old safe room with a big metal sliding door that is titled 'beers from behind the iron curtain' where you can find an incredible selection of beer from the former soviet union. They make surprising good beer too!

Ratings_icons Wine Cellar Experience

I am not writing a review of the actual liquor store part of Sun Devil Liquors. I am writing about their wonderful Wine Cellar and Bar.
Many people have probably driven past Sun Devil Liquors hundreds of times and thought that it was just a liquor store.
However, if you go into the back and down the stairs, you go into their wine cellar, which has hundreds of bottles of wines lining the walls, and in racks down the middle of the room.
There is also a bar there which not only serves a large selection of wines, but also many micro-brews of beer. The prices are very
reasonable, and you can also buy a bottle from off the shelf and share it with some friends for little money.
It's a great way to spend a little time wine-tasting before heading down to a show at the Mesa Arts Center.
