I'm a New York City gal hiding out in Scottsdale three months a year, you know, "Stop The World I Wanna Jump Off!" Needing some solace for face, fingers and figure was recommended to try Spa Du Soleil by a friend who understands for my insatiable need for nurture. Upon entrance, I was not so impressed with facility size but I've been to them all, big, small, and have learned that size, while important to some womanly needs has nothing to do with the quality, professionalism and service offered. What they lacked in size they more than made up for in attentiveness to my needs and mood and proved it with positively mood altering aroma-therapy along with an exhilarating yet soothing and restorative European peel and facial performed in the humane-precise by a Magician- I mean Esthetician named Sophia. My skin was thanking her before the words could escape my finally calmed vocal chords. Sophia said she was from NYC by way of Russia, felt like we were friends by the time the generous (1 hour 15 minutes) 1 hour escape was through. This followed by a more than adequate French Manicure and Pedicure (great Pedicure!) by the "bubbly" yet detail oriented Cori- a real sweetheart. All in all- the place ain't big nor elaborate, but the service, professionalism and heart sure were. Three hours of Bliss on a Thursday afternoon, what more can you ask for?
Wow, this place is awsome. I have been going to this Spa off and on for about 6 years and I love it everytime. The place is in downtown Scottsdale and is a little on the small side but very, very relaxing. There is a Salon on one side and Spa services on the other as well as an outdoor retreat area. I have had some of the best massages here. Kelly, the owner also does the BEST eyebrow waxing/shaping - an eyebrow artist!! Everyone deserves to be pampered here at least once.
It will be nine years this fall since my girlfriends and I started coming to Spa Du Soleil for our ""spa days""...we have celebrated each others' birthday and have had ""just because"" spa days together!
I have been to other day spas in the Phoenix area as well as in other states. Spa Du Soleil is truly my benchmark for the quality of a massage, the services offered, and the overall atmosphere a client receives the second they walk through the door!
Ken has been doing my hair for almost four years now. My only regret is that I didn't start going to him years before! He remembers your hair, your style, and doesn't ask each time you come in...""what do you want done today?"" Ken will make an assessment of your hair type, your face shape, your overall personality, and will give you his recommendation(s) that are personally suitable for you. He has an amazing talent that puts him in the ""expert league of hair.""
Thank you to Ken, Kelly and Patti for taking such good care of me!
From the moment I walk through the door and am greeted by Kelly, I know I am welcome, and am treated as an exceptional guest. Hot tea (and delicious) on a cold day, cool refreshing lemon water on a warm day, and World Class customer care!
Ken is absolutely the best at taking care of my hair. I always love my cut and style, and the courtesy and care I receive. Ken can tell what will work with my hair and work for me. He is a hair genius!
And Patti has to be the best nail professional in the business. I have had many manicure/pedicures, but I have not found anyone who could compare to her! She is amazing!
Thank you all, and I am looking forward to my next visit with you!

I never had been to spa before and friends recommened spa du soleil, they visited here 2 months ago and tried this spa viewing there web site. All they said was it was the best experience they ever had, amazing facials and massages and the most relaxing they have been in years. They plan on coming back to this great find every time they are in Scottsdale. Very happy customers.

We had never been to Arizona before. We wanted a spa that would not be crowded and would be on the way to our adventure tour. We booked a couple services. We were around the area a day before our services were scheduled so we decided to stop by and tour the place. Kelly (the spa director) greeted us. She was warm and friendly and showed us around. This place was exactly what a spa should be; you could almost hear an audible sigh as people walk into the door. Kelly and the rest of the staff are not only knowledgeable but also know how to put people at ease. Kelly answered whatever questions we had. During our conversation our plans for dinner came up. We talk her that we make it a tradition to dine at a nice restaurant that is popular among the locals. She asked us where we planned on dining. We listed a few places and she said that if we wanted a restaurant local foodies frequented none of those places would do. She mentioned Mastros steakhouse. After she gave us a brief description we knew we had to dine there. Kelly, seeing our excitement, called up Mastros right away, and set up our reservation. We dont regret going with her suggestion. Mastros was fabulous. One of the best steaks weve had.
I digress, we returned the next day for our services. We came in early so we could enjoy the outdoor garden terrace. As far as outdoor quiet spaces go, it was like a retreat within a retreat. Reminded me a little of Bali. We both wished we could have made it a full spa day and selected a few services that they offer out in the garden terrace. We had to rush off for an adventure tour. We needed to grab a quick lunch and again Kelly took great care of us. She handed us a menu of a deli just down the street. We picked out what we wanted and she even phoned in the order for us while we were getting ready. The next time were in Scottsdale, well definitely stop by again. When we do it will have to be a full spa day and a chance to catch up with Kelly again.
Bottom line: Excellent spa. Staff goes above and beyond for its clients. A fabulous relaxation space that is an amazing surprise because the faade of the spa is so unassuming. Its so relaxing that time seems to slow down when youre here. We highly recommend this place.

Pros: Retreat within a retreat
Cons: Wish we made a full day of it
I very much dislike corporate experiences, so I was happy to use my Spa du Soliel gift certificate. They allowed me to use it for a different purpose than that on the certificate. I didn't need the massage that the certificate was for, but I did need to have the fat squeezed out of my butt via body wrap. I lost so much weight that I didn't fit into the dress that I planned on wearing that evening....fine by me!!! 10 stars if possible.
Pros: ambience, skill level and knowledgablity by the staff
As soon as you enter Spa de Soleil you feel relaxed. The atmosphere is soothing and tranquil. The intimate setting is comfortable and friendly. Lots of wonderful touches like fresh flowers in the restroom / changing room, soothing music played throughout and lots of goodies to buy. \r
I've tried lots of different kinds of hair & skin products and this spa has the most fantastic products. Also, there are so many different things to choose from on their incredible spa menu that I can't wait to try them all someday.\r
Saving the best for last...the owners and staff are FABULOUS! I regulary see Sophia for facials and Ken for haircuts. The best facials & haircuts I've ever had!!
Pros: Fabulous atmosphere, Fabulous products & Fabulous owners & staff!
Cons: I wish I had more money to spend!

My wife and i endulged in cuples retreat and absolutly feel in love with the service. The place was a bit small, but made up quick. The pink champain and chocolate in the warm soke befor the message absolutly took my wife's breathe away. my massae therapist was absolutly stunning, even down to the pink shoes. the facial, even my face, soft and radiating with warmth. overall very good and highly rcomended.
Pros: small and personable.
Cons: small rooms.
My French manicure was a rip-off. I live near New York City and for $35 I expect better. I live in Mendham, NJ which is one of the most expensive towns to live in NJ, and I spend $21 for a french manicure at the day spa in town. To start with the positive: nice staff and great products, including Phytomer. The negative: mediocre decor, NOT luxury spa at all. Small, cluttered and not particularly clean. The manicure room was tiny, small selection of nail polish (only 5 bottles of Essie). While I loved my manicurist Patty, she did not give me a hand massage, which for $35 should be a highlight. There was no nail dryer machine that is in every nail salon I have been to in northern NJ and NYC. 10 minutes on that machine and you are good to go. I immediately smudged my nails after waiting for 20 minutes, even after I made sure to pay before the nail polish was applied. This place has no business being listed in the top 10 nail salons.
Pros: manicurist Patty, other staff friendly
Cons: expensive, shabby decor, white tips uneven
Adequate spa - wouldn't return. Not too luxurious and is in tiny space. No private bath facitlities and one shower! Called and made appointments and asked if we should arrive early and was told no. Was NOT told they did not even intend to open until we arrived (11am). Wanted to arrive early and soak in tub - there is no tub. Also was not told the same person was giving massage and facial - person just started into the next service. Thought it odd. Construction is going on and there were a few workers milling about. Minimal toiletries available (no hair products, deoderant. etc..). \r

On the pro side-my massage was good. My friend had an incredible facial with Sophia.
Pros: Average price; good location; Men would likely feel comfortable
Cons: Tiny, not luxurious, varied level of services - depends on who you get
The moment you enter the spa you are surrounded in an atmosphere of total relaxation and indulgence. The perfect place to destress, be pampered by an incredible staff, and experience some of the most amazing treatments that leave you wishing the day didn't have to end. After one visit, you will be ""hooked""
Pros: reasonable prices, close, easy parking, no delays
I love my visits to Spa Du Soleil....the owners and staff are so professional and the
level of service is incredible. I feel like a member of the family whenever I visit. I recommend this SPA to anyone who wants to be pampered and treated gently and respectfully.
Pros: Cleanliness, reasonable fees, good parking
Professional staff, customized personal attention, atmosphere is serene, quiet, and luxurious all at the same time. Great for an hour or two get away or for a whole day retreat.
Pros: Location, Atmosphere, Professionalism
Heartful, personal service from beautifying your natural nails, to exquisite massages and facials. Staff is incredible. Place truly is an oasis of peace and quiet from the world with many shops and restaurants nearby. Easy parking too. Highly recommend it!
Pros: Attentive Staff, Easy to access, Price is right
Cons: Not open on Sundays
