Samuels Michael Dvm - Central Animal Hospital

AMAZING! Dr. Samuels who does the surgeries and sees the exotics goes above and beyond consistently. He is exceedingly qualified--and caring. He lent me literature on the species of bird I own for which there is almost none. He recognizes the unique needs not only of the general category of exotic (snakes, birds) but is versed in the specifics across species lines. He successfully performed a "hysterectomy" on our female king snake who became egg bound--her diameter is that of a person's thumb! How cool is that? He saved her life! He is upfront, honest and the most knowledgeable of all the exotic veterinarians in Tucson, and I'd dare to bet the state. Of course it isn't enough that we have an amazing exotic vet--Dr. Miller sees our dogs and they couldn't be happier nor could we! During a routine dental it turned out that our labrador's "ear infection" was really pain from a cracked tooth. Dr. Miller who does dental and domestics 'patched her up' amazingly, and even when she's not saving our puppies--they are giddy with excitement to see her! I reccommend them to everyone--not only are they BBB accredited with an A+, but Dr. Samuels is Avian and Herp accredited.

Mike Samuels has been the BEST vet we have EVER had, he is THE most kind, caring and compassionate vet I have ever met, not to mention reasonable. This man goes over and beyond the call of duty in helping people out, even when severe hardship hits like when it is time to put an animal down. I refer him to EVERYONE, and so many people tell me how much they like him and thank me for rerferring them. He is a SUPER nice man and I would NEVER go anywhere else!! He is a true asset to the veterinarians of Tucson!

This vet clinic is on Country Club just south of Speedway. I have only seen one vet there and he was fantastic. He really takes the time to talk to you and find out what treatment you would like to use. Our dog had broken a toenail and I was concerned about putting him under anesthesia, and the vet was so reassuring and really put me at ease. In addition, his prices are very reasonable, less than other vets I have been to. I can highly recommend this vet clinic.
