Got new tires for a very reasonable price! Tires can get expensive especially if you're getting all 4. So I shopped around and then came here and they had the best to offer :)

They really do have outstanding customer service here. They also have the goods to back up their work because their employees always provide quality service. No doubt that if I need my car fixed, I'm bringing it here!

The rave reviews are right, American Auto is great! I brought in my car after scouring the internet looking for a trustworthy repair shop. I've been taken advantage of many times and wanted to make sure this time around it wouldn't happen. The guys at American Auto are professional and repaired my car in no time at a very affordable price. Can't beat that!

Brought my car here to get an emissions test and possibly new tires. They have great deals and are very fairly priced. Got my car new "shoes" and it passed the emissions test with flying colors.

I just got an oil change here and their service was super! They checked my tires for me and offered to inflate them so that I get better gas mileage. I also had a cracked windshield wiper and they helped me install a new one, free of charge! These guys are nice and won't try to run up the costs of fixing your car.

The repairs were finished quickly and they charged me a very fair price, especially for all the extensive work they did for me. They specialize in a lot of high-end brands so I completely trust them with my cars when I bring them in.

I only trust American Auto and Import with my 1965 Mustang. Their hourly rates are unbeatable, and their mechanics are all honest, hard workers. I have NEVER gotten any BS since going to American Auto. Great shop, great mechanics.

I took my Lincoln Navigator for an oil change and to fix some suspension problems I was experiencing. The service was great and fast. I am planing to take my cars here from now on for all of my maintenance needs.

American Auto and Import Repair has worked on my company vehicles on a couple of occasions. I am always impressed by how thorough their technicians are and quick to alert me to any other problems. They are also great about making suggestions that save me money on future maintenance.

I've used this place for several repairs, usually for my Mini, but when looking for a place to get our Honda repaired, decided to give them a shot on this, as well. Our Honda had a strange noise that we got all kinds of differing opinions on. But at American Auto they quickly identified the actual cause, then had to look around to find parts (10 year old car) and got it taken care of in an acceptable amount of time. They even called me on the day after because the owner remembered I needed the car back by Saturday. Repairs are good, cost is reasonable (always cheapest to get it done right, once) and service is excellent. A seemingly rare place where you can trust that what the mechanic says.

A car repair place that listens to the customer? No way, really. It seems so simple, but when you have an older car with high mileage you dream of finding a car repair place that actually takes the time to find out what's wrong with your car and...wait for it... fixes it. These folks listened to us, and to our car. They fixed what we asked, (by the way these were the same problems the last "Volvo expert" could not quite figure out, but still charged a fortune for) They fixed the immediate problems we were having (stalling, running rough, lower mpg) and provided us with a list of things that should be done, when we had more time and more cash. Just what we asked for! The folks at American Auto & Import might just be that rare bird, the auto repair place that does what they say they will do for a reasonable price and with a great attitude.

So, yesterday my window fell into my door. Seriously. I came out from the bank, saw my window was gone, thought momentarily that someone had robbed me, realized the window had somehow moved to the bottom of the door, and immediately called American Auto and Import Repair. Because, of course, who wants to drive around in July in Arizona with no window? They told me to bring it by as soon as I could, and they would fix it. 1 hour later, I had my window back with no damage to the window and little damage to my pocketbook. These guys seem super-honest and do good work. Highly, highly recommended for someone looking for a good mechanic in Gilbert.

From the front desk to the mechanics, I can't say enough nice things about them. We ONLY take our cars to American Auto. They are professional and honest. I trust them not to recommend a repair that is not needed and to perform the ones that are. We think they're great!

You know what sucks? Getting a cracked windshield, on your brand new car, that is not covered by your warranty. These guys made it a lot less painless. They gave me a quick appointment, did quick work, and they were friendly. Most importantly, they charged less than the places recommended by my insurance company and my dealership. No wonder they have 5 stars!! Hopefully, I will never need them again. But I would absolutely use them if I do!!

My car broke down in the middle of the freeway exit and I took my car here after doing some research on the internet. This place has by far the most honest mechanics I've gone to. They were very nice and helpful when I went in. They were able to diagnosis the problem the same day (it seemed to be a busy Saturday) and gave me a quote. Got my car back in 2 days!

Cliff and i just wanted to thank you for doing the work you did on our van. Because of your fair price and honest work we were able to afford to fix more then we thought we could. I brought my mom's car to American Auto after they were recommended to me by someone on my block. They were very attentive and they greeted me right away when I walked in the door. They explained they were very busy but called me soon after with the details. They were very thorough and honest in the quote. I would definitely recommend this company for all of your auto needs.

I decided to try this garage out after seeing their ad in our church bulletin at St. Anne's. I was pleased at their service. When I go in for an oil change, I never have to wait more than 20 min. I've also taken the car in for minor repairs and have been satisfied w/ the work everytime. I would definitely recommend this garage to anybody looking for an auto repair/ auto lube place.
