Los Dos is a great place to go for authentic New Mexican Mexican food. You'd better like it spicy, though, because most of their dishes are hotter than hot. Their slogan "Some Like It Hot" is very true! The best part, though, is that it's not just hot without taste. You can choose from red or green sauce on your meal, and both are extremely tasty. They do have dishes for folks who don't like it spicy, or just order your food dry. The deserts are also wonderful--try their Tres Leches cake! Thanks to Los Dos for many years of delicious meals!

Great Food!

One of if not my favorite Mexican restaurants in Phoenix. I love the Carnitas. The pork is soft and very tasty. Their salsa is also good and can be spiced up as well if you like. They don't offer non-spicy salsa.
The decor of the restaurant is awesome as well. And be sure to try a margarita while you are there.

This mexican restaurant is touted as the most authentic in Phoenix. Super tasty food, but bring your pepto because this food is HOT! Some of the spiciest mexican food ever served is right here! Lots of people love it, but I can't take the heat! So if you want real authentic mexican food - go here - just plan accordingly for your night - you're going to feel it!
PROS: Fabulous Mexican Cuisine - Authentic!
CONS: Hot hot hot!!! Very Spicy!

Anytime my family or friends come to town, I always take them to this local Mexican food restaurant. The food is authentic and very tasty. Beware if you have a weak stomach as the food is also incredibly spicy. Get there early because it gets crowded fast, and they don't take reservations. Try the pot roast or the shrimp quesadillas.
PROS:
CONS: Be aware, they don't take reservations.
