Toni & Guy Hair Salon

I have been going to Toni and Guy Salon for a couple of months and the stylists are so friendly. I really like the way Kira and Amanda do my hair. They are really with it on the styles and the color. I really like that Jerimiah, he is a riot. Keep up the fantastic work y'all.

Here's another testimonial for Jeremiah! First of all, i would like to thank the other client reviews (below) for pointing me to Jeremiah! You are right! He is a fantastic stylist! Super friendly and very attentive to want you what done to your hair. I felt very comfortable from the moment i sat down in his chair because he paid close attention to my hair...looking at the texture, the cut and the way it laid.I walked out of the salon with healthy hair and a super cute/trendy cut! I've been getting compliments every since i left the salon and that was just last night =)

I had my hair done by Frankie and he was great! He was very good at listening to what I wanted and also did such a nice job on coloring my hair. The atmosphere was great and I received wonderful customer service overall. Thank you Tony and Guy!

I have had my hair done at Tony and Guy for the past few months and my experience there has been awesome! The staff is friendly, upbeat and definitely skilled at their profession. My colorist is Jenny and she is amazing. I would recommend her to anyone who who is interested in getting their color done. She is helpful, listens to what you want, and does a great job overall. I always leave there with a smile on my face:)

I visited the Toni & Guy Salon located in the Chandler mall and was very impressed. I was seen by Jeremiah who was absolutely awesome! I am very picky and he exceeded all my expectations. Not only did he give me a great haircut but also great customer service and was alot of fun to visit with as well. When I first stepped in the salon I received the "red carpet treatment" from start to finish. I will definitely return to see Jeremiah in the future. He gave me a very trendy cut that is easy to manage myself. Thank you Jeremiah for the great experience! :-)

I would recamend jeramiah and Jenny , well that is just my choice. she does the best job , she also makes my hair look scene, wich i love, and jeramiah cuts my hair like scene and it looks awesome!!! I love love love this salon !!! :]] that is why i gave it 5 Stars!!! :DD

My daughter has her cuts with Ashley and I use Casey. We get a great cut and lots of help with proper styling. The best thing is that I can do the style when I get home and I don't walk out with big ugly hair! My colorist is Jenny and she's great too. I love my color and she's great at keeping me looking natural. My highlights don't look like a 6 year old painted my hair.

A few months ago I went to have my hair colored from Blonde to brunette and was told that i would have to wait to get a color correction appointment. I got the color correction appointment and the woman dyed my hair brown. She didnt put anything on my hair before coloring it brown though. She also went onto the phone twice whilst cutting my hair. She text people too. I'm not normally bothered by not having conversations in the hairdressers but this was just rude. At first the color looked nice, and i was happy when i walked out of the shop. But after just two washed the color faded and ended up having a greenish tinge. The girl who cut my hair actually did a really good job, and was incredibly friendly, thats why i gave 2 stars.

I'm nineteen, i'm a college student, and i'm a HUGE fan of Toni &Guy! I can get a single haircut there that looks trendy for school that lasts months, verses cuts at Great Clips or Cost Cutters that I have to go back and pay 4 or 5 times to get the look I want. I don't have time, nor the money, for that.

And besides, i'm not seventy or someone who lives under a rock.

My recommendation is Miguel. You'll get a fast fantastic look (and free samples!), along with loads of laughs that will have you happy the rest of the day.

I always go to a master stylist at an upscale salon because I have naturally curly hair, which most stylists are not good at cutting. I recommend Michael at this location. I've been going to Toni & Guy at the Chandler Mall since it opened and have never had a bad cut there. The salon is generally busy, especially on the weekends, so it's a good idea to call ahead and make an appointment. Be prepared for sticker shock if you're used to paying for a haircut at lower end salons.

I've been to both the Toni & Guy Academy (Ahwatukee & Scottsdale) and the salon. Many of the stylists know what they are doing because they were trained at the academy which happens to always be jammed packed with people every time I go. If you want to only spend $12, you will get a "decent" hair cut and they know they're stuff because if you go for a color, but you normally do at-home coloring (ie, Feria), they will have you wait because of the metallic salts in the product will react with the color process. I normally go to the salon, but the academy is ok to try if you only need a trim in-between cuts. They like to stick to the easy stuff there.
At the salon, I have to say I have had my hair cut by two different people & colored by two different people (stylists & colorists are separate). I recommend Jennifer for cuts, she is fast and understands what you want the first time. I have never experienced a "cookie cutter" hair cut from her. For color, I recommend Frankie, he is great and can do complex colors. There is a tall, larger woman who colored my hair the first time (Angela?) but I was not satisfied with the results even though she was a "level" above the guy that subsequently colored my hair. I tried Frankie because Jennifer had recommended him to me (& he does her hair too). Hope this helps!

Pros: usually available all week, fast, competent
Cons: need to find the right person to go to, just like any salon

I agree with the other reviewer this place is way too expensive. You can get the same quality haircut for half the price other places. The name is what gets you here. The stylists are nice but this place is always busy and its hard to get in anyways.

These hair stylists are known to be the best. But when I went in here I was not impressed, they charge a fortune and charge prices that you can get anywhere else for less and the same quality haircut. These stylists seem a bit standofish and uneasy to approach.

Toni and Guy are a top of the line hair salon with very well trained stylists. However, they did the same exact job that I could have paid a third of the price at most other salons.

Toni and Guy generally produces reliable results using the same techniques on everyone's hair. Their cuts are trendy and fun, but if you want something out of their typical hairstyle, their stylists can become easily confused and generally are unable to accomodate you. Also, if your hair is difficult to cut or has problems, you may not get the expected results.

Overall, I would recommend them if you can go in knowing exactly what you want and are able to explain it.

PROS: Convenient locations, always available
CONS: "Cookie cutter" haircuts

Wow the haircuts here are outrageous. I know this is an upscale salon but when I went in here they did not do anything that a $10 haircut some place else would have done, I wasnt too impressed at all.
