THIS ABOUT PEP BOYS at 1233 s country club dr. mesa----had bought windshield wipers ..wrong size..tried to return..thought I had lost receipt. the two employees were out side installing a canopy..went through the open doors, stood at the counter. Waited for a few minutes, no one assisted me. Then the 2 employees came in. I had my wipers and the new ones on the counter. One said I could have brought both pairs up. Inferring I was stealing them. I left the store and found my receipt, reentered the store. Got my money back for the pair I had bought earlier. NEVER AGAIN will I shop at pep boys

My husband was looking for a part for his older car. We stopped at Pep Boys and found what we were looking for. They had a great selection of parts and accessories. The staff wasn't overly friendly but they were nice enough. Good place to shop.

John & his crew at the APD counter do a very good job in trying to put the customer first. I have done buisness with them for 5 years now and am very happy with the service. Some times its a little hard getting through on the phone late in the day, but its getting better. Also the store has just been remodled & they are carring a lot more items !

CONS:

Daughter just recently went there looking for a part, the parts person was friendly and found here the part which she purchased. Upon trying to install it we discovered it was the wrong part. When she went to return it the insisted that it was the correct part and basically argued with her like she was lying. That is unacceptable behavior.
