5 Stars: Great Place for Dogs (by Julie S.)

I've been bringing my two dogs here a couple of days a week for almost a year and have been so happy with the service and the staff. I have a 1 year old border collie mix with boundless energy - he comes home exhausted from his day care visits and sleeps like a rock that night. The dogs' opinions are more important than mine though...all I have to say is "ready for day care?" and they start jumping up and down and race for the door. I can barely control them while getting them out of the car and into the Dog Days building. I also boarded my dogs over a long weekend once and had peace of mind knowing they were playing all day and at night were sleeping together in a large crate with their own bedding. There is a staff member with them at night to check on them and let them outside once. You are required to go for an orientation session first to make sure your dog isn't agressive and can play well with other dogs.

5 Stars: Great place for dogs!!! (by Betsy S.)

I was so happy to find Dog Days! I was worried to board my dog for the first time but when I saw the place I wasn't worried anymore. The dogs get tons of attention and get to play with other well behaved dogs. The staff is very friendly and they really love dogs and give them great care. They make sure they provide a healthy and fun environment for your dog by only accepting well behaved, non-aggressive dogs. I think this might have been the confusion from the other reviewers. The owner wants to do an interview with your dog to make sure they will get along with the other dogs and staff, and that your dog will feel comfortable there. Plus it gives you an opportunity to see the facilities so I think it makes sense. It's a really great place!

5 Stars: Great place for your dog to be (by Jolie J.)

We absolutely love this place! We started going here about 2 years ago when I had my puppy booked at University Hospital and almost burst into tears when I saw their kennel. I searched the yellow pages and Dog Days was the only one that had room for our St Bernard. We have been big fans of this place ever since. My dog is so excited that when he gets there we can barely hold him on the leash. He usually mopes when we take him home for at least a day or two. The staff is great and I love that this is a family owned business. I am very confident when we go out of town that my dog is having a fabulous vacation of his own !!! Love the Jessie's

4 Stars: My first choice for our dog (by AJ B.)

I was referred to this place about 2 years ago and it has always been my first choice to drop my dog off when we are going out of town and can't take him.

They seperate the dogs into large and small groups and they are out and playing with other dogs for 10 - 12 hours a day Monday - Saturday!! They screen all dogs and don't gaurentee they will take dogs that they think may be a problem.

The people are friendly and always recognize me and my dog even though we only go there a couple times a year. The only negative that I can come up with is that they are very busy and you need to get in very early to get an appointment.

There rates are comprable but with the care I feel my dog gets there I'm happy to pay it.

5 Stars: Great Place!!! (by Jen J.)

I've taken my dog here a lot of times. My dog and I love this place! My dog always has a great time, they are very well staffed and always very friendly. You are required to bring your dog in for an "orientation" prior to the first visit. This allows you to check the place and staff out and for them to meet your pet. I don't think my dog could get any better care while I'm gone. They don't use cages during the day so she plays with other dogs all day and is only caged at night. The prices are very reasonable compared to other boarding places in the area. I'll continue to bring my dog here and have recommended this place to a lot of people.

2 Stars: Visit First (by Angela C.)

I was thinking of taking my puppy here for an overnight stay, but i wanted to bring my puppy first to check the place out, to see if i felt comfortable leaving him there. the person I spoke with on the phone didn't seem to want to let me do that, so i decided to take my business elsewhere.
