Beyond filthy

by lisa l.

While getting a pedicure, a large cockroach roamed around my chair. The owner spotted it, came over to my chair and used my shoe to kill it. He then left without picking the dead bug up. i was thoroughly disgusted.

Fashion Nails & Spa - you get what you pay for

by Frequent S.

Fashion Nails & Spa certainly cannot compete with places like the Sanctuary, but they give a good manicure and pedicure and the staff are friendly and respectful.

Good Pedicure

by T. G. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 11,910

Got a good pedicure. I thought they were a little expensive, compared to where I usually go. They were really busy that day, which may explain why I felt rushed. Friendly staff.

dirty

by Anonymous

This salon is dirty. When you get a pedicure, you can see how filthy the floor is behind the pedicure bowls. I observed an employee "clean" one of the bowls for not even two seconds and then sit a customer in that spot. Furthermore, the employees don't sanitize their instruments after using them. The technician who did my nails put the instruments back into the case without even putting them in barbacide or anything. I know this place is busy, but there is no excuse. Unless you want to risk getting an infection, I would avoid this place.

Nice upscale place for a pedicure

by barbara m. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 6,219

The ladies are very gentle with your toes but they apply enough pressure for a relaxing massage. They are very skilled even if they can't fully communicate with you. The spa was also very clean and the pedicure chairs they had were comfortable. I love how they also offer small hand made designs on your nails. I recommend the dragon fly, but it'll cost you a few bucks. Avoid the weekend, unless you make a reservation because this spa is based in Desert Ridge which attracts many people.
