Loved this place for the wings, however the service is the worst. After ordering 3 dz. wings (honey bbq) I got honey bbq HOT. After telling AM B (waitress) that was not what I order she reluctantly took it back (with NO apologies) and brought me what I originaly ordered. The 1 star is for the wings, which by the way went from a Med. wing to a small wing. Won't be going back.
Teakwoods offers many flatscreen tv's in which to enjoy a variety of sporting events, especially pro and college football. The seating arrangements offer great options for both large and small gatherings. Along with a good menu selection, patrons are encourged to enjoy the buckets of peaunts and just throwing the shells on the floor! A pool table and video games are part of the fun you can have.
I used to love this place when I worked in Gilbert. It was on the way home and me and my bros would beer it up after work all the time.
Some of the best food I have ever had at a "bar".
Large portions on sandwiches, burgers etc, but very expensive for this type of restaurant. Lots of variety on the wings, and some pretty unique and heart-unhealthy variations on hotdogs.
I remember beer being cheap there when I first began frequenting the place, not so cheap recently.
Also remember the crowd being pretty young and hip back in the day, the few occasions I have been in there recently, everybody's all old and stuff. I've also been to Teaks in Maricopa a few times (In the old Ramsey's location) and that crowd seems younger.
Free peanuts = good
Pros: Giant portions, cold beer
Cons: Too many old people
Sold a gift card with "Teakwoods Tavern" on it that is only good at their location (which is not printed on the card). I went to another location where they told me it was not their gift card. Went back to this Teakwoods and manager blamed me for going to the wrong restaurant. I asked for the $25 in exchange for the card worth that amount, and he refused. He can take the $25 for the gift card quite easily though.
Been a fan for 5 years. The new location in Gilbert is great, too. Always on the To-Do list with visiting guests. Loud and fun enough to bring toddlers. HUGE portions, and great price. Awesome variety.
Pros: variety, portion, fun
The best local bar in Arizona. Servers are friendly, yet always busy. Menu is diverse and very well priced.
The wings are the best in town.
Pros: Best Service, Inexpensive
Cons: Always Busy
Best service. Best service. Best chicken BREAST sandwich ever! Free Frick'n Peanuts. Best atmosphere. What a great place. Comfortable. Oh, and did I mention best service! This has got to be the best place to go in Phoenix. Really. If you haven't you should and you will agree. If not tell me somewhere better to relax after work and spend all my money!
Pros: Great Food, Great atmosphere, Great People
Cons: NONE, NONE, NONE
