Bring the whole family to this original Chicago-style pizza joint that serves award-winning thin crust, stuffed and pan pizzas to the sounds of Sinatra, Martin and Big-Band music. Oregano's unique menu includes delicious and original tastes, wings, pastas, salads, sandwiches and The Original Pizza Cookie dessert.
Normally a good pie.. however was there on the 4th of July.. it was awful.. I don't know what they put in it but not edible.. Spent 22.00 for nothing. Also it was so hot in there.. I couldn't believe it.. I was getting sick to my stomach with the heat and the terrible food.

I love Oregano's and would go there more often, but the wait is so long there that it can be frustrating. However, it is usually worth it. Great food at reasonable prices.

I love Oregano's the staff is always friendly. The service is great as well as the food. I am from Chicago and I think they have the best chicago style pizza in the valley.
The only bad thing is the layout and the wait. The waiting area is odd.

Of course they have the amazing thin crust pizza and the huge sandwiches and salads. But you haven't had Oreganos if you haven;t tried the pazookie. Half cooked cookie with ice cream on top. Soooo amazing!

I LOVE the food at Oreganos!! The service however is so-so. The people seem as if they are over acting when I go there and it bugs me! Also, the wait time is absolutly ridiculous! They are always busy and you can never walk right in. Even when you call for take out there is sometimes a wait!
PROS: The food is fantastic!
CONS: THE WAIT TIME!

I love going to Oregano's for dinner! The pizza is to die for, not to mention the pazooki for dessert afterwards! I highly recommend going there. There is usually a wait, so go early!

there is something on the menu for
everyone, and you really can't go wrong with any foo selection! the oregano's favorite salad and the Pablo Picasso salads are divine, and I'm a huge fan of
their sandwiches on the foccacia bread!! very family friendly, but also really fun and hip, especially at nights. everyone in Arizona knows what Oreganos is -- and for a good reason! it's the place to be!

I would recommend this place to anyone! Their menu is HUGE, so there is something for everyone. They have good cheap wine and the Bellini is so strong. I love their salad, sandwiches, pasta, and pizzookie. The service is excellent. I have heard from friends who work as waiters, that it is very tough to get a job over there- which speaks a lot about who they hire. This is my favorite place for a birthday dinner. I only wish they had a location closer to home (north phoenix).

I love love love LOVE Oreganos!!! It is my favorite restruant ever!!!! The only thing I don't like is their thin crust pizza but thats because I dont like thin crust pizza....but for those of you who do....try it!! My recommendations are the wings!!!! They come 14 in a basket. A lot of people dont know this but you can mix sauces! We always order the medium and gold sauces mixed!!! SOOOO YUMMY!!! I also recommend the cheesey garlic bread! Their salads are huge! Great for sharing! The best salads are the cesaer salad and the pablo picasso salad! My favorite pasta is the lady is a scampi...... its a little spicy so beware! But very tasty! ANd you HAVE to save room for the famous pizookie desert! Words do not discribe how awesomely yummy it is!!!!! GO TO OREGANOS!!!!!
Pros: service, food,
Cons: long waits! because its soo yummy

I went to this place with my son and we loved it! We got a thin crust pizza which was delicious and we had the best waiter. It's kind of noisy and very crowded but it's worth it. We got there pretty early in the evening (around 5) and it was already pretty busy, but we only had to wait about 5 minutes for a table. By the time we left, though, there was quite a line outside. They also do takout if you would rather eat at home. They have some great jazz tunes playing in the background which I loved. The pizzas take a while to cook (20 - 45 min) so make sure you plan for enough time (they gave my son some dough to play with so that he'd be occupied). I was really very impressed and I plan to go back again and again!
Pros: good food and service
Cons: noisy and crowded

I'm from Chicago and I like a good stuffed pizza. I thought Oregano's would be good, but it turns out that they don't know how to make that type of pizza. The dough that they used would be good for a thin crust pizza, but it is too tough for a stuffed crust. A stuffed crust pizza needs a tender under crust. Also, I thought Oregano's was just a name and not an overused ingredient. There was so much oregano in the sauce that it made the sauce bitter and you could feel pieces of dried oregano in your mouth. On a good note, the servers nd staff were very friendly.
Pros: Service
Cons: Noisy!, Recipes

My brother makes it a point that we eat here everytime he comes into town. The Big Rig is great in the restaurant as well as you will have leftovers and they are even better. The only downfall is the setup of the restaurant is its floorplan and layout. Not much room to move and doesn't hold many people so be ready to wait.
Pros: food, food, food
Cons: layout

Oregano's has been my favorite restaurant for years. The food is original enough to keep me coming back once a week, but simple enough that my picky boyfriend loves it too. The ambience and service is always a blast, and the pizza cookie dessert is a MUST. If you plan to visit on a Friday or Saturday night at the Tempe location, plan in at least an hour or two to wait; there's no reservations, and it's a small restaurant that a lot of people love!
Pros: Great food, dessert, Many choices, Fun ambience
Cons: Long wait
