Du Japon Hair Club

I love this place. The owner runs a tight ship. I have been coming here for a very long time. I've cheated and gone places closer, but the cut and color just never is as good. I highly recommend this hair salon!

For asian hair like me this is the place to go. they do really take care of the hair like professionals. It is true that it's more difficult to find a hairdresser that knows how to specifically handle asian hairs. I am really picky for my hairdressers so I tried a few around. This place has great stylists! they really have a technique you cannot find else where.

I found Du Japon after bouncing among hairstylists for several years. If you're Asian like I am, your hair will look best when specific techniques are used on it. These techniques aren't taught in the States, but are taught overseas. The trick is to find stylists who have that training. Every stylist at Du Japon has this training, and they're up on the latest trends. Their cuts are stylish but never uncomfortably edgy. I've been going there for a few years now.

Bonus: They also do excellent perms and coloring, also appropriate for Asian hair.

Their prices are very reasonable, and they give all-day validation for the Joe's Parking on the same block. They also have a location in the Sawtelle area.

PROS: Expert cuts, perms, and color for Asian hair.
