this place couldn't adequately replace a backup battery. after a year of frustration and three returns to the business, manager was argumentative and dismissive. not the first bad experience with this business. \n\nif you need a tire plugged, they can help. otherwise, try anyone else.

Pros: location

Cons: everything else

I have had two occasions where my car needed service and I took it there since they are close to my home. Both times they have ripped me off: The first time, I went in to have my brakes checked and changed. They came back and said that my car needed all four rotors changed (as well as brake pads) and quoted me an exorbitant price. Before I ok'd the work, I called to a local dealership's service department to check, and not only was the price at Sanford Firestone hundreds of dollars more than what the DEALER quoted for the same work, they told me my make of car only had two rotors to change. \r\n\r\nThe second time, my radiator was so cracked I didn't think I could get it anywhere but nearby without my engine frying, so I took it there. They charged me over $100 for the estimate (which would be applied towards the work), but then proceeded again to quote me $200 more than my regular mechanic quoted me to replace the radiator. I decided, that after towing it to my regular mechanic and losing my initial deposit/estimate cost, I would break even -- and it was worth the principle of not giving Sanford a dime. \r\n\r\nWhile the woman at the counter was very nice the second encounter, in general the guys who work there are complete jerks -- impolite and court. I would rather cut myself than ever go back there.
