Hastings College Of The Law

Hastings is a top law school that just doesn't seem to get the recognition it deserves. Located in the heart of downtown San Francisco (The Tenderloin), it's not in the best of areas. But look past the surroundings and you will see a top notch law school that has excellent professors and students. About the only thing I can fault this law school with is that the classes are too big (415 for one year). However, it is a very fine school. If you are looking at applying to law schools in California, make sure to apply to Hastings. You won't regret it.

My sister is currently appyling to law Schools in the bay area and we have compared all of the neighboring schools. Hastings Law Schol seems to be the best school around. It has high academic standards and a wonderful reputation for its students doing well after graduation and passing their bar exams. Also Hastings Law school is part of the UC system, making this school cheaper than private law schools. For a wonderful education at a reasonable price, I think this is one of the better Law schools around. The admissions process is very competitive and once enrolled, all students strive to be the best.
