shopping for white color contemporary platform bed was not easy as I thought. it is too expensive or too fragile(chinese import). when I first looked at mine at sweet dream, it was the one, however, it was just a little too low for my height. the owner said it is all custom furniture within 2 weeks, and surely he made it 3 inches higher and now It looks so~ good at my bedroom. moreover, it only took less than 10 days to deliver. i spent $1200 on this bed, but it definitely worth it. highly recommended.

I've been bedroom furniture shopping for months and stopped by Sweet Dream twice. On my first visit, I was given the attention I needed but was left alone to look around without pressure. I ended up going back months later and Donovan (owner?) remembered me and was extremely helpful with his opinions, but not once pressured me. When I had a question, he was always nearby and attentive. I ended up buying 3 pieces on the spot and I had the furniture later that day, with free delivery and setup! The delivery people were great, they even asked if it was OK to wear their shoes indoors. (That was a first!) They were quick and thorough and made sure to clean up behind them.

Besides the excellent service, the selection is great and all of the pieces are very cool, and in every budget. I will definitely go back!

Ok, so my wife and I looked for a dining table set for weeks and weeks. We found Sweet Dreams through citysearch and tried it out. They were SUPER friendly, very helpful, and had what we wanted (they had to order it... not in store). And for a great price!

So we received our furntiure, they assembled it, everything was great. About 2-3 weeks later, I pulled one of the chairs out and noticed that there was a small gap between one of the legs and the support cross beam. It wasn't anything significant - just a slight mistake in the manufacturing (Sweet Dreams is not the manufacturer). So I called SD.

THEY WERE SO HELPFUL AND RESPONSIVE!! They sent workers out to our place to 1.) fix the chairs, 2.) take the chairs they couldn't fix, and 3.) replace them! EVERY step of the way, they were polite, attentive to detail, and totally supportive. I WILL order furniture from them again!!

Pros: modern selection, price and amazing service

I really liked the fact that this place is not just about selling furniture. They offer you much more than that. You can also get your flooring done here too if you like. Price is really reasonable. It is one of those places that may be get a huge exposure like IKEA but this really feels like a hidden treasure. The owner is really nice and helpful but he is always in demand so I would recommend going there during weekdays.

Great variety of modern furniture selections, excellent service, price and most importantly quality. I purchased my bedroom furnitures from Sweet Dream and I can NOT be happier with my decision. Their service was outstanding from beginning to end. The sales people at the showroom were very kind and knowledgeable about their products and their delivery team was very courteous and had utmost respect for my new house. They arrived about half hour later than promised due to heavy traffic here in Los Angeles, but they made sure that we were notified at least an hour ahead. The assembly of the bed was done professionally as I expected and the place was cleaned up after they were finished. I'm afraid that most establishments won't live up to my expectations after shopping at Sweet Dream.

If appears to be a bedroom specialty store, and it is just what I needed. very cool furniture and helpful and considerate service. I could find from bedroom furniture, mattress, and great linen. silk beddings are so soft, it is incredible. I wish they have more selctions in sofa, and dinings. great stuff and good prices.

Cons: location finding was difficult, although it was in major street.

recently, I renovated newly purchased home before we moved in. Sweet Dream remodeled my bathroom and it is truely wonderful. Donaven(owener, interior designer) was fast, honest, easy to talked to, not to mention his creativity. sub contractors are also considerate since they did not complaint about many of my little favors. I highly recommend it. I was refered from one of my friend and she was really satisfied with him as well.

The store has unique furniture and the customer service is the best. Delivery was perfect and exactly as promised. I would highly recommend. Great for dining and bed room furniture.

My wife and I stumbled onto this place by accident after spending hours searching for a nice contemporary style bedroom set at the furniture stores on Western Ave near Melrose Avenue. After about 6 frustrating hours of searching for that right set, we finally gave up. Those furniture shops on Western Ave are way overrated! Yes, there are over 30 shops within a few blocks and they have many different styles available but most of them only had one or two contemporary sets on the floor. When we asked to be shown some more, they started showing catalogs. If we wanted to see pictures, we would be browsing on the internet. We did find a couple of nice sets that we liked but price was approaching 5 figures!! Anyway, we were tired, disappointed, and hungry after exhausting day, we decided to go for some Korean-BBQ at nearby Korea Town. Going north bound on Vermont Ave from Olympic Blvd, we saw a huge "Sweet Dream" sign on the wall across the street on the way to the restaurant and decided to check it out real quick. We were very pleasantly surprised when we walked in because store was so much larger than it looks from outside and everything was layed out so nicely, matched and all. They literally had like 10 perfectly matched bedroom sets displayed with the right wall colors and everything. We were impressed but scared because we thought this was a high-end shop that's got stuff that we can't afford but imagine my surprise when we saw the marked price on each furniture. They were hundreds, not thousands and the whole bedroom set cost was about 1/4 of what we would've had to cough up at the Western Ave shops. My wife was so happy she started asking all these questions to the ladies that work there. Not the best English speakers but we had no trouble communicating. Oh, we walked in on them when they were about to close the shop but they never pressured us to purchase or leave. Oops, limitations in number of characters, will continue on a separate review...

Pros: Large store, nice lay out of bedroom sets, friendly clerks, great price!

Cons: Store is hidden! You'll easily miss it unless going north bound on Vermont Ave...

my bedroom furniture set looks great. I spent so much time looking for a right furniture, I didn't realize that it is soooo hard to find the right one. Mine is very cool, unique. moderate price. customer service was very considerate. great people.

This place is hidden in the middle of Koreatown, but when you get through the traffic you'll be amazed to find the best modern furniture in all of Los Angeles. The modern day version of IKEA, with sample rooms but with high end furniture, the best part you don't have to assemble it. Each room has the most up-to-date modern style furniture. I bought a micro-suede couch for $1000, and I saw the same couch at a upscale boutique in Newport Beach for $8000. My friends always ask me where I got it.
Its one stop shopping for interior design, bedding, and furniture. The staff is nice and they can deliver it next day. They have their own parking lot, so you don't have to worry about fighting for a spot or paying for parking.
My entire bedroom and living room is from Sweet Dream, and doesn't look like mass produced Ikea, its so chic and trendy, people have to check this place out.

I recently purchased a furniture set made of synthetic fiber. It looked great and price was even better. One day I was shopping at Fashion Island in Newport Beach. I found the exact same furniture but was 7 to 8 times more than what I had found.

Pros: Store is large. Price is reasonable. Great service

this is one of my favorate shop. it is hidden in K-town at mid-wilshire district and what a store. they have great number of bedroom furnitures. mattresses and bedroom linens. very clean line modern furniture but the prices are affordable. nice people but they don't speak english that well. some does. highly recommened.
