I love this place. I'm always able to get work done, they have free wireless, and the best Mexican Mocha in Hollywood. The service is hit or miss...sometimes the staff is in a good mood and other times not so much. The art on the wall from local artists gives it a strong sense of community.

I love this coffeehouse. there is a strong latino culture atmosphere among the people and books there. If your looking for a place with great books and coffee then this is the place for you.

The beautifully stained chairs and tables are so colorful (reds, blues, greens), that they practically invite you over to sit in them. The broad selection of desserts and coffees seal the deal. The service is kind and helpful. Within its confines lies a Latino bookstore, filled with interesting choices. The place comes alive when musical groups come to play. Top quality souful acts lend their talents, so it's a treat to enjoy the space when musicians drop by.

PROS: yummy desserts, coffee; sweet musical acts; nice furniture
CONS: parking in the 'hood is at a premium, so you may have to park it down the block

Its kind of hard to come upon the right blend of books and coffee, seeing as that is a common trend with major bookstores these days. What makes Cultura unique is its dedication to Chicano culture and the space it provides for reading, coffee drinking, and even spoken word events.
