Do not waste your time going here. It was the worst manicure I ever had. They have more than one location.

I DO NOT LIKE THE BURBANK LOCATION. Mani-Pedi's are terrible and over-priced. I will NEVER be back! I tried twice just to see if they could do a better job the second time. I will NEVER be back! I might as well have done them myself.

I have a feeling that a lot of the reviews are inside reviews
I was NOT impressed with the gal at the front
she took forever to acknowledge me- i don't mind if they are busy and she looks up and says I will be with you shortly
had to tell her I was there
she was unclear that my gal was not at the salon yet
and I kept wondering when we were going to start
so reception was lousy
nail lady was great but forgot to put a top coat on one of the nails
and NO ONE offered me this so called free tea or coffee
so was it fabulous
just about a six out of ten
not great

My daughters and I finally found a nail salon that we love! We've looked all around and couldn't find a place that offered what we wanted...good service, a nice atmosphere, sanitized utensils, walk-in availability and lots of colors to choose from. Now we are so thrilled. My daughter first found the one in Studio City and that was great, but when we learned they also had a location at Fashion Square in Sherman Oaks we just couldn't believe it. We usually don't make an appointment and get in very quickly. Every person working there has been pleasant. They offer lots of colors and the end result is always beautiful. They have a lot of special treatments for your hands and feet, in various packages to choose from. Check out their menu when you arrive. They also have wonderful massage chairs, so the whole experience is very relaxing. Their prices aren't cheap, but not bad, especially since we leave feeling so great. They're located right off the parking lot, so it's an easy trip to the car in those disposable flipflops, just in case you forget your own. I highly recommend this place...a real treat!

Pros: Great ambiance and wonderful manicures and pedicures

Cons: none

Ive been here more than a few times .... something always done wrong. Never ever have your eyebrows waxed ... they will remove half your brows .. do NOT know what they are doing. bad experices with mani and pedi's also .... sloppy work ... and get snooty when you try to tell them to fix it. And for the 10% off coupons ... if you go in and have a pedicure with the french, than your 10 percent isn't off the WHOLE service .... the service ONLY counts for the price of a REGULAR pedicure ... the extra $5 doesn't count in the 10% off .... even though the extra is still part of the service ..... very MISLEADING to say the least.

Had the french mani yesterday and woke up today with the white chipped off 3 nails ... went back today to get fixed .... very rude about doing it, but did it.

They are all about the quantity of people versus the quality .. they hurry you up t get to there next customer.

I have now decided to go across the street where you can get better service with less the cost ....

A friend also has had very bad experiences over there, half her eyebrow was also taken off with a eyebrow wax, the girl colored it in with a pencil .... that is a joke!

I was in there one day when a celebrity cam in with all the paps outside, they were ALL distracted by it and barley paid attention to doing there jobs ... the girl messed up twice on my pedicure and had to start over becasue she wasn't focused on me ..... too much hype for your buck ... very overpriced for the lousy service you get.

First time ever I didn't tip .... always regretted my tip in past, but this time and didn't bother.

Pros: close by

Cons: rude front desk- unskilled service etc etc ...

I've tried numerous nail spots in LA, SFV and Beverly Hills. I have left each feeling slightly unhappy with my hands, perhaps because they are naturally awkward. It was during my last mushroom experience when I really focused on my hands and realized that the fat bulk of acrylics was unsightly and bothersome.

I chose Nail Garden because it was close to home and provided the nail gel service I was looking for to replace the gargantuan acrylics I'd been struggling with for years.

Initially, the girl at the front desk what somewhat rude and not quite sure how to answer my questions, but once I got my nail tech, Katie, she knew exactly what to do and answered all of the my questions with a smile. She consulted me what would be best for my hands with the work I do, suggested a cheaper alternative to that which I had originally planned for, took her time to make my hands absolutely perfect, and the result was flawless.

I was impressed with the glimmering floors, the European chairs, the chords hidden by vines, the electric shades and the plethora of colors and service choices they had. No hassle, no problems, sweet people and a relatively convenient location. I couldn't be happier with my nails.

Definitely worth the money you spend. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Pros: Friendly, knowledgable staff; excellent products; clean

Cons: Front desk rudeness, mall environment

2. Most of us who come here are looking to relax, or evaporate the stress of the day, I have to talk all day long, I'm conversationed out when I come, talking to co- workers is not a crime. If you are worried about it, get to know your tech. They do like to talk to you, and if not they are happy to leave you be.
3. Don't go in with the attitude that everything is taken care of via mind reading. Tell your tech what you want up front. See if it can be done, just because one salon does something, it might not be available here.
4. Be polite, we are all people. For some reason, we have this culture clash. I have witnessed people come here and walk in front of the sofa 'checking out" the techs and pointing to someone. This is not a brothel. I have witnessed rudeness to the extreme in nail salons by spoiled people of every race. And, I have seen it here.
Again, be polite, sure it's your money, but how would you feel if someone treated you like a servant.

1A. Counter Staff: Ok, so not many people liked Tanya, so she is gone. She always treated me well, maybe because I asked her name, and developed a working relationship with her. Some of the counter staff are young, and learning. Youngsters learn by example, immigrants learn by example. Are we following?
If there is a problem, ask politely for the owner's name and number, if you can't work out the situation.
1B. Pricing is high here. Location, staff numbers, good chairs, autoclave, awesome OPI selection, etc. The techs don't set prices, they work on commission plus tips. Upselling sucks, but hey! It's part of sales. I don't think nail salons are charities, I keep missing the big "Come here and get your nails done for free!" sign outside. I would love to see specials on slow days, specials for regular customers, specials for new customers that are intending to form relationships. These are what makes clients happy.
1C. Who goes here? I do, and some of my celeb friends do too. I get compliments on my hands and nails all the time. I put my nails through hell on a daily basis, but they always look great. People who appreciate a touch better then regular cookie cutter service should come here, and form a relationship.
1D. Again, I will rave about the staff. My tech, Linh, is awesome. She takes great care of me, my hands and toes look and feel great, I'm treated special here. When I have had services by other techs, they are all great.
Linh knows my needs, and if for some reason she left, I would follow her to wherever she went. If I couldn't I would have no problem adopting another tech from NG.

I have been to other places before NG. I have left with nailbeds burning, bleeding, feet in buckets, and staff that couldn't stay away from the free wine. No so here.
I don't drink, so I don't know about the free stuff here, (Really? who ever thought that serving alcohol in a salon was a good idea anyway? Is that not what a bar or your home is for? I wish this trend would stop.)

I have no time, and most others don't for fake reviews, and vengeance postings. This is a real post and review. I don't have time to Facebook or twitter, but I have taken an hour out of my day to write this. Give them a try, book a consult, and meet with a tech before your appointment to discuss what you want, put in the time and you will get what you put in.

DT- Eagle Rock

Pros: Clean, Excellent work, caring, you get what you put in.

Cons: * See below*

So I've been going to this place for years now and I usually go there after work to get my mind off of work and stress. However, there are these 2 employees who CANNOT keep their mouth shut. They talk in a loud obnoxious manner about other people. There have been several instances where this has occurred. I believe that one of the girl names is LINH and the other one is LUCY. So next time when you go there to relax, make sure those two girls are not working that day.

Getting my manicure done at nail garden was so refreshing. First off it was packed with people which is always a good sign because i cant imagine people coming to a salon that they didnt like so im content these reviews are not bogus. Either way im glad that they were clean and sanitized which was a plus in the nail world i found a great manicurist and overall my experience was wonderful and relaxing. People should really consider trying nail garden out ..i took a chance and it worked for me.

Pros: a huge selection of OPI polish

★★★★★

The best part of it was that they have the massage chairs for the pedicure and I had two estheticians at once. Let me just say I almost fell asleep in the chair the service was so relaxing. I never had to leave the chair. They even provided me with a neck pillow. Only thing was that it was pricey, but I would say it was well worth it.

Pros: best nail salon in town!

★★★★★

i love this place ..... i have never seen a nail spa that has coffee and wine and all these awsome promotions. This is one in a million and i finally found the place for me.I have heard all great things about nail garden so i decided to try it out and i saw what everyone has been talking about. The manicurist rae so friendly and so are the receptionists. People should really consider trying this place out

Pros: love the wine!!

Cons: none

★★★★★

i was at nail garden a little over a week ago, and i had a very nice experience. everyone there is super friendly, and i lovd how they always make time for you.. i dont think ive ever had to wait more than 5minutes! (awesome) and wow my nails still look GREAT, i did the new axium color gel and my nails look like i just did them! i love it, and of course my pedi is still looking fresh as always!

★★★★★

I was very impressed by the receptionist in the front. She very helpful. It was my first time there and I didnt know how the combos worked. The receptionist expalined everything to me detail by detail and I was impressed with the service i recieved today. Thank you very much! I will definently be returning, I found my new nail salon. THANK YOU TO JULIE AND ANI. I enjoyed every minute of my time spent there. (they also have delicious french vanilla)

★★★★★

When i first went to nail garden i was a little worried only because i am known to complain about every detail on my nails and i warn the manicurist ahead of time about my disease! i was actually surprised and very impressed with how the manicurist was attentive to my needs which was a plus off the bat for me. She asked me if i wanted a callus remover and i told her i was too sensitive for that so she willingly worked extra on my calluses because they were a mess. I was very thrilled with my experience there and i will definitely be returning!

Pros: Clean , Coffee and Tea!

★☆☆☆☆

When I arrived it was chaos. Girl behind the counter was short and rude. The chair I was given was dirty and not clean. There were cut nails from previous person and I had to ask to clean my chair. The girl that did my manicure cut me and I started bleeding. I asked for another girl since the first one caused me to bleed and she did the shape of my nails round instead of sqare. Then she had the nerves to tell me I needed to ask for "real sqare" ??? I was charged full price! Advice: money is not everything service is!
Stop posting your own reviews it is obvious.

Pros: None

Cons: Dirty and get rushed

★★★★★

No appointment needed, Attention to detail, comfy setting. Everything was clean and everyone was so nice. I enjoyed the manicure so much I added on a neck/shoulder massage. i also got a design done on my nails and I never do that at the other places.

Pros: easy parking, good attention to detail, lots of variety

★★★★★

it was my first time at nail garden and i will defintly be back with my girlfriends! They have a variety of OPI colors which is awesome, no cheap old nail polishes here. i was seated immediately after picking my color and got to choose from the different manicure pedicure combos, which i thought was cool. i had a relaxing and enjoyable experience and my nails look great!! it was an overall great experience.

★★★★★

Nail Garden is by far the best nail salon i have been to! I get compliments on my nails all of the time. I told my friends and even their moms to go there, and they were all very pleased. I've been going herefor over a year now and I'm not planning on switching to another salon. Thanks to them I always have amazing nails! :)

Pros: Great customer service

★★☆☆☆

I went in to get my eyebrows done and the whole process took about five minutes, they didn't even clean the wax off afterwards. When she was done doing my eyebrows, she said we're done and left the room. I would not go back.

Pros: lots of people working, you get service whenever you arrive

Cons: hurried and unfreindly

★★☆☆☆

i made an appointment a week ahead for 5 of my friends to get mani/pedis and when i called they said all of us would be seated together and could get our mani/pedis at the same time together. when we got there, the place was packed and i came 15 min before my appointment like i was told, and they said we couldn't be seated all together b/c there were no more spots. when i called they specifically said they would reserve it for all 6 of us to be seated together but then they separated all of us, one person on the other end of the room, other person on the opposite. we couldn't even talk to eachother and had to get our mani/pedis all at different times. my 2 friends had to wait longer until more seats were available until they were finally served. i felt really rushed and they told us we had to move seats to make room for other customers, so once they finished doing my nails i had to move to a regular chair. the mani/pedi wasn't anything special and i was the only one of all my friends to be offered some coffee so i had to ask the receptionist myself if my friends could get some too, and i also had to serve them myself. i thought it would be really nice since all the ratings were super good but it was just overrated and i don't think i'll be returning there.

★★★★★

I have been going to nail garden for two years now, and I have really enjoyed every visit. The place is cute and clean. The staff is wonderful, and they all do excellent work. Great massage chairs and a relaxing atmosphere. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure their clients are comfortable and happy. I highly recommend Nail Garden!

★★★☆☆

I' m new to LA so i have looked you up on CS a few times before decided to try out.
First impression, the place soo beautiful, my 2 girls are so kind that they offered me a yummy drink and explaind all the services verry clear. I'm verry happy with my nails and I have to tell you that was the best mani-pedi I ever have. (I get my nail done once/week)
The only reason that make me verry unhappy is I were happen to sat next to the girl whose as I have know her name were "LINH". OMG...........The whole time I was there ( about 70') she couldn't keep her mouth shut at all. She talked almost the whole time with 2 other persons and her voice soo sooo loud and mean. They might not know i used to lived and worked in Viet Nam for about 4 years so i'm verry much could understand most of their conversation. I'm feel so bad and terrify for the customer that she were woking on BC i belived all her energy was used to talk some stupid think about other people than doing her job. I regreted that I were too kind to ask for another chair away from her.
To be honest, I'm a verry easy going person and I always think that it is OK to exchange a few words with your friends in Vietnamese if needed, but in a nice and soft tone, not so loud and enternity. We are all work so hard for living, so one in a great while, we finally have time for ourself, we're deserved a nice and fair treat for our tired hands and feets ( and heads). I feel bad that while I were enjoying my hot coco and the wonderful massage from my techs, the poor lady next to me got nothing but totured from the girls and still have to pay a good 40$.
In my opinion, should it be the time to give some adults some eduacate about kindness and being a goodmaner?
P/S: I'm still do love this place and will come back and gladly recommend for all of you guide.

Pros: NICE PLACE, GOOD SERVIVES, LOUDSY TECH

★★★★☆

they are really good i love my nails

Pros: good work

Cons: bussy

★★☆☆☆

Am I the only one who did NOT have a good experience here? First of all, the place is packed. Every square inch has a nail station. Good for them... bad for that so-called spa-like experience. I felt rushed. Invisible. The girls were so distracted by all the hub-bub that they paid very little attention to what they were doing. My legs were black and blue in spots from the massage! I needed another mani/pedi 3 days later. There was a big glop of nail polish on my $100 pants. Red, no less! When I informed the manager she offered me a 15% discount. Big wup! In my opinion, what should have happened was a profound apology followed by a discount offer on the next service (as if there was going to be one). Or, no charge on the pedicure... Grrr. Maybe the other locations are better. This one is off my list.

Pros: fast and furious

Cons: spa like experience??? I don't think so.

★★☆☆☆

I've been here a couple of times for a pedicure. They have been fine - not amazing by any means - but they are cheap and close to where I work so it's been convenient to get a quick pedi at lunch. This last time, however, the woman working on my feet pointed at the bottoms and said calluses? I assumed she meant did I want them buffed (like normal pedis automatically come with) and said yes. She then put some gel on the bottoms of my feet and put plastic bags over them. At that time I was thinking that seemed like more than just a simple callus buff but she never said anything about it so I just let her continue prepping my nails. Then she went to grab the menu of services. I told her I just wanted the standard pedi but she kept saying something I couldn't really understand until I finally realized she said the callus treatment she had applied was going to be another $10!!! I immediately told her that she never disclosed that to me when she pointed to my feet and said "callus" so I didn't want that treatment. She then pulled the bags off my feet and washed them off, clearly annoyed. The rest of the pedicure was completely lackluster and very very rushed. I was really irritated that she tried to pull one over on me in the beginning. I almost didn't tip but I can't do that no matter how bad the service is so when I gave her a tip she barely even looked at me while pocketing the money. I will certainly NOT come to this salon again.

Pros: Convenient, Can usually walk in and get a pedi or mani

Cons: Rushed, Some unfriendly staff, not clear with pricing up fro

★★★★★

I would like to say I have always had a really great experience at this nail salon. (Studio city) My nail technician Linh is Great!!!! She is always polite and kind and very professional. She is also very skilled I just love her work and she makes my nails look great each and every time. Thank you Linh :) Also each time she has worked with me the instruments are extremely clean.

★★★★★

I have been coming to the Nail Garden in Studio City for the past 3 years. I sometimes visit their Burbank and Sherman Oaks locations but always love coming back to this one. I go to all the manicurists and have never had a bad experience. I enjoy the energy and team work in that store. Its just something I notice I guess. My manicure and pedicure last for two weeks! I especially love the coupons behind the Ralph's receipts;) I dont really think I could ever try another nail salon--so happy they're in our area.

Pros: mani/pedi lasts long, service, prices

★★★★★

What I like about Nail Garden is that the owner is always heavily involved in enforcing great customer service. I know my experience in getting my mani-pedi was unbelievable! The tools they use are taken out of the little machine that disinfects them right in front of you, the lady that did my nails did an excellent job ... not the most talkative which is how I like it :-), but very professional. I've noticed that someone has written some complaints on Nail Garden's page and I have a hard time believing that they are true. Reham, the owner always makes herself very available to any client, and she is great at calling you back if you have a suggestion, concern or complaint. I have been going to Nail GArden for years, and so far have never gotten the desire to go anywhere else. All I can say is that you should experiece their services yourself, and if you want to make any recommendations about services or staff, you should contact the owner. There's no better place in the Valley to get manicures and/or pedicures than Nail Garden. If you try them, you'll see what I mean.

Pros: Great mani-pedi services in the Valley! Owner very accessible

Cons: Not having gone there before...

★★★★★

I spotted Nail Garden when i was headed to ralphs and i decided to go in to see why there was so many people. i went in the receptionist were very kind and told me it would be a couple min wait. I picked my color out of many variety of colors and got seated. The person who did my feet was awsome. She gave me a massage and just cleaned my feet like they were suppose to. Many places do a half fast job, but this lady took her time.I am happy i found Nail Garden.

Pros: Great service

Cons: NONE!!

★★★★★

I've been coming to the Nail Garden in Studio City since they opened 3 years ago. I never really thought of writing a review but I was just on line and fell upon Citysearch. I know there are other locations that are closer to my house and newer but I just love coming to this location. My gel nails are always done to perfection and my pedicure always lasts me 3 weeks! I have to admit that I've tried other nail places in the past few years while still going to Nail Garden but they just dont compare. Thank you Nail Garden for for doing such a great job with me! Happy holidays

Pros: great technicians, price, parking service

Cons: I wish it was closer to my house

★★★★☆

I've been to both the Sherman Oaks and Studio City locations...and they're actually quite different. The receptionist at Sherman Oaks was A LOT nicer than the two in Studio City. I work with customers on a regular basis and like someone mentioned before, a smile goes a long way, at least pretend to care. The Sherman Oaks location was also much more organized and prettier but my manicure started peeling the next day. The pedicure? its been 3 weeks and its perfect...i usually get a pedicure every week but somehow this lasted FOREVER...the manicure at the Studio City location has been going on strong for 5 days. This is the absolute longest i've had polish on my fingers without it chipping or peeling. I wish I got her name because she did the most amazing job cleaning up my cuticles my nails have never looked so good. The whole experience is good. Not omg amazing but for $30 mani/pedi not bad...its also nice that they use OPI colors not some cheap nail polish from the 99 cent store..definite plus

Pros: OPI nail polishes, amazing techs

Cons: how come i'm never offered a drink?

★★★★★

i just had the best acrylics put on. they did exactly what I wanted them to do.Most places try to make it their way, but the manicurist at Nail Garden were so nice and understanding. I will go back forsure!!

★★★★★

I tried the Sherman Oaks Nail Garden and loved it. The place is clean and the chairs are new and work well. The staff was actually friendly.
I had the best foot massage I've ever received from a mani/pedi. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a new location for their mani/pedis.

Pros: Service, ambience, lots of nail polish to choose from

Cons: parking at the mall

★★★★★

Best customer service ever!!! when you come to the Nail Garden, you do not have to worry about getting rush and slopply services. Every dollar you spend here is well-worthed. The nail technicians are very happy and take their time to make sure that you walk out happy. All of their nail polishes are OPI. That 's not all, they provide complimentary coffee! I love this nail salon. I highly would recommend Nail Garden not just for the service, but also relaxing, quality work!

★★★★★

I got the BEST wax here! The woman who did the wax was experienced, clean, and the wax was at the perfect temp., and although waxing is painful, she made me feel less pain than my previous waxing experiences. Best of all she did not take too long. I also had a pedicure, and my nails looked amazing. The spa chairs are very relaxing. The experience kept getting better and better. Also, in their advertisement, and they did! I was offered complimentary coffee :) My entire experience at Nail Garden was awesome!!
Pros: Parking

★★★★★

I came to Nail Garden yesterday to get my nails done for my wedding. The place was so crowded, that people were standing outside! I am so impressed by how organized everything was with all that chaos. My nails looked awesome and I still got the attention and service I was looking for. I was still treated very well and the service was just as exceptional as when I visit on a Monday morning. I usually dont write reviews but I needed to comment on how great everything was. You guys are doing a great job!!

Pros: lots of parking! and freee coffee

I've been coming to Nail Garden tor the last 2 years now and have always enjoyed my experience here. Its really the salon that I will step foot in. There prices are reasonable, its clean, has a beautiful ambiance, and the service is always consistant. I'm sure all the techs are great but I go to Lucy and Lena--my favorite! I recently visited their new Burbank location but came back to Studio City just because I'm so used to it. Their other salons are just as gorgeous! I am very paticular about the way my pedicures are and I really havent found a place where they can be so meticulous and take their time. I just love this place!!!

Pros: cleanliness, service, prices

Cons: gets so busy in there sometimes

★★★★★

So my two daughters are huge Miley Cyrus fans and the last two times we went to the Nail Garden in Studio City, we saw her getting her nails done!!! What are the odds of that? The first time we saw her there, the paparazzi completely blocked the door way. Now my daughters want to get their nails done everyday! lol Besides all the celebrity hipe thats always there, Nail Garden is truely a salon for all ages. I love going there and so do my daughters. They get to sip on their complimentary hot chocolates and I get to read my gossip magazines. The manicurists are super sweet and I just really enjoy the family atmosphere in there. I will be heading over there this evening, cant wait!:)

Pros: Miley Cyrus sightings:) great nail care

Cons: dont know?

I absolutely LOVE my pink and white acrylics!! the wait was a bit longer then i anticipated but the staff was exceptionally sweet and kept checking up on me!

Pros: Friendly atmosphere

Cons: very busy

★★★★☆

wow the service was awesome from the receptionists to the manicurists! at first glace the place was gorgeous with the vines coming down, not to mention the great atmosphere. True, the place was pretty busy and a bit crowded but they made sure each person was taken care of. I enjoyed my mani/pedi combo !

★★★★★

This place is as good as it gets! I give Nail Garden five stars for many reasons. It was a bit pricey but you get your moneys worth. Everyone there is so sweet and they make you feel at home. No pressure to get something you don't want and the best thing is that they all know how to speak in English. Sanitation is a must and I approve Nail Garden as a highly sanitized salon. Thumbs Up!

★★★★★

Nail Garden is by far the BEST!! Of the several nail salons that I have been to, Nail Garden is my favorite one. After all the amazing 5 star reviews I read on Yelp, I decided to take my chances and see how this place is. I got a mani pedi spa combo. The two nail techs who were working on my nails paid a lot of attention. What was even better was that they were speaking in English so i would not feel as if they were talking about me. I've had the best mani/pedis ever at this place! They have very soothing music playing in the background and they really take their time with you. There is so much detail in everything they do from the colored bath salts to the the fruit that are in the bowl you soak your hands in. They use a nice salt scrub on your feet and hands, give you a nice massage, and wrap your hands in warm towels. It's such a relaxing experience! Nice ambiance, friendly staff, my hands and feet were pampered for an hour.. so yay! :)

Pros: nail techs speak English

★★★★☆

The salon is very beautiful, relaxing, and clean. I love the chairs and the massage. I only gave four stars because my actual mani/pedi was just average...the technicians could have spent more time with the maintenance part then the polish part. Yes they use sanitized equipment, which is great...but I noticed before they began scrubbing my foot, the foot scrubber has obviously not been cleaned properly.

Pros: Interior design, chairs, wide selection of polishes, clean metal tools

Cons: Dirty foot scrubber, quick mani/pedi
