Good generic college place to party

by Arlene K. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 7,804

Everyone parties here. It's large, there's a dance floor and the line moves fast. It's good for what it is, a generic college place to party. I have found the staff to be rude at times, and wouldnt really reccommend the food unless you are drunk or here for Taco Tuesday.

PB

Haven't actually been here before, but heard it's always packed. Friends come on Thursday nights to mix and mingle and just take a load off from school or work.

The Place to be on Thursday

by Ting W. | insider Insider | Rank: 14,371

PBB&G as so many refer to it is the place to be on Thursday night. The line moves fast, its free to get in, and drinks are half off before midnight. This means that a Long Island is not approximately $3, so be prepared to see a lot of hammered college students. The place is frequented by the exact same crowd every Thursday, so also be prepared to see the same people over and over again. The bartenders do their best in serving the large crowd, although the drinks do tend to taste a little nasty after a while. There is a dance floor, the music is good and leans towards the hip-hop vibe. However, there is not enough room on the floor, and 20 minutes on it will make you sweat up a storm as well as curse at everyone trying to step by you. Skip the food unless its Taco Tuesday. Their stuffed mushrooms are bad tasting, expensive, and tiny.

PROS: Good student crowd, cheap drinks, free entrance
CONS: Too small, gets old fast

go on tuesdays

I say this because they have Taco Tuesdays. Their tacos are great and really cheap. The place is huge and great to visit if you are an out of towner. The staff are friendly. This place has 3 bars and a ton of TV's. Drinks are pretty cheap. Overall a pretty fun place close to the beach.

Nice

Would highly recommend. Delicious food all around. Nice environment and not too expensive. Great place to go to with your friends for a nice sitdown meal.

There is actually food here!

by Melissa M. | insider Insider | Rank: 15,132

I have partied here on weekends but I was surprised when a friend took me on a Tuesday and there was a whole Mexican menu with everything listed at $1.95. The food was good! The drinks were also cheap. I had a strawberry margarita and it was delicious. They have theme nights all week so check it out!
