I just had lunch here on Christmas Eve. The food was really good. The service was quick. The prices were reasonable. I have no complaints. The Inn itself is a bit old, but has a neat feel to it.
Enjoy!

The Paso Robles Inn is located in dwontown Paso Robles, well situated for touring the local wine country. The original hotel was built in 1891, but burned down in 1940; the new hotel was immediately rebuilt on the same site, and continues in operation today. The architecture and decor are appropriate to the area, and avoid the sterile feel of typical chain hotels. The steakhouse is above average, and quite good for the area, although no one will mistake dining in Paso Robles for San Francisco.

Rooms are not inexpensive at over $100 per night, but service is good and the staff is attentive. Some rooms offer whirlpool baths using the local hot springs mineral water; although the smell of sulfur can be powerful, this is a unique experience.

The Paso Robles Inn is a refeshing break from the usual chain accomodations, well located in a beautiful part of California. Not perfect, but worth considering if you are traveling to the area.

My husband and I stayed here for our wedding night. We had a suite with a mineral tub on our balcony. The room was beautiful with a nice fireplace and large bathroom. The mineral tub was very relaxing after our long wedding day. I enjoyed the central location, the Inn is close to everything. I also really enjoyed that we were able to have a family brunch there is the morning. Paso Inn has a fabulous Sunday brunch, and it was great to be able to just go downstairs to enjoy the brunch with my family the morning after the wedding. The grounds are beautiful and it was great to take pictures there in the gardens and around the ponds.
