Reviews for La Baguette French Bakery

Ratings_icons Great place for desserts and pick-me-up treats

Anne R. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 336

I agree with the other reviews -- La Baguette is a great bakery filled with amazing desserts and treats. I've never been there when there wasn't a line, but the service is good and they do get to everyone as quickly as possible. They have really great single-serving desserts, which makes it fun and easy to pick a treat for everyone in your family for a special occasion or just for fun. Worth stopping in just to smell the yummy treats!

Ratings_icons yum!

Definitely one of the yummiest bakeries around and my favorite place to stop and have a snack when shopping in Stanford Shopping Center. Love their Parisian sandwiches, fruit cups and elcairs. They have nice seating outside although the birds are aggressive and sometimes its hard to get a table.

Ratings_icons Excellent bakery in Stanford mall

Ram S. | insider Insider | Rank: 23,655

Lines are long at lunch time or otherwise, but despite my dislike to visit malls, I find myself dropping in to visit this bakery. Choice is excellent and cakes and sandwiches are very very good. If you are fan of marzipan based cakes, they have one that is just for you. All in all, a guide to Palo alto bakeries must include this one as top of the list.

PROS: very delicious
CONS: long lines

Ratings_icons Straight from Paris (or so it seems. ;)

Whenever I go to Stanford Shopping Center, I can't leave without picking up something from La Baguette, one of my favorite bakeries of all time. When you walk in, (if you can fit with all those people crowded trying to get their order) you can smell the delicious smells of bread, coffee, and pastries baking. I LOVE their eclairs, TARTS, and bread. They have delicious mille feuille (a custard cake), and all kinds of other delcacies. If you're a fan of baking goods, you've GOT to get in here, and get your food. It's SO GOOD.

Ratings_icons Amazing desserts!

La Baguette has mouth-watering treats, including cakes, bread, etc. The only problem with this AMAZING bakery is that it is almost always crowded and there is always a line that extends beyond the door.
