Video Cafe 24 Hours

The grub here is fine. There is nothing great about it. It is a standard diner type set up. The staff is relatively efficient and reasonably nice. There are a couple of big screen TVs which may be showing something of interest. The place serves a function. You won't expect fine dining and you certainly won't get it. But you'll be full, which is about all you can expect.

PROS: There edible is food there.
CONS: It is what it is.

This place is 24 hrs, which is great. The service is not always polite, but not slow either. The food is a little more expensive than you'd expect for the quality. The brunch menu is a little limited, but the coffee is solidly good.

PROS: Always open
CONS: Brunch could be cheaper

This 'video cafe' was begun back in the 1980's--I remember it when I lived in the Richmond District. Fun place for a late night cup of coffee and dessert, or a quick lunch!

This place brings me lots of memories: lots of friends, grilled cheese sandwiches, pecan pie a la mode, awful older-lady waitress that kicked us out when we didn't order anything.... Memories
