Eden Day Spa

I just read the reviews and it confuses me that people can be so weak to feel that they are feeling pressured to upgrade a facial or buy products. If you want to see better results, you will upgrade to a better treatment and if you want to keep the results, you purchase the products that are recommended to you. Trust that your aesthetician will recommend something that will work for your skin and not against it with high quality products. You are not at a department store having a salesperson selling you products that they guess may work. If you walk in to a spa to have a facial, you probably care to see an improvement in your skin, so get the maximum results by taking advantage of your aestheticians recommendations. I have been going to Eden for about 3 years now and I cant even begin to explain how much my skin and confidence has changed. Im getting older and looking younger than I did before. If you dont like it, dont go back. I happen to love it and I highly recommend this place to those who want to see a difference in their skin and are willing to get what they need to keep it looking great.

I recently visited Eden Day Spa and noticed some changes, mainly the new owners and atmosphere. The treatment was one of the best I've had and received only useful recommendations for products and skin care. The new owner said they were opening a brow bar and medi-spa next door. I had been there about a year ago and this time I really enjoyed my new experience. They have some very unique treatments... and that downtown area San Anselmo is just fun!

I want a facial or massage to take me out of the every day world and into a tranquil realm. That was not the case at this spa. The first time I went, I received a great facial from a very good esthetician. It did not matter that a crying baby was outside my door for over 20 minutes as it's mother bought facial products. Unfortunately, a different person did my face the second time around. She was extremely annoying, continuing to sell me various treatments and products throughout my session. She also felt the need to show me every blackhead or impurity that she was squeezing out of my face. Yuck. She left the room a few times, and when she returned she did not wash her hands before returning to my face. She wore plastic gloves as she massaged my neck and shoulders...it felt wierd. All in all, I felt pretty ugly after leaving as, according to her, my skin must have been in pretty terrible shape in order to warrant so many add-ons and expensive products. I'd give it only one star, but wanted to put in a good word for my first visit.

Eden Day Spa in San Anselmo has been a long time favorite for me. Their entire staff has always made me feel like a million bucks, before, during and after the treatment. They are truly experts in the field and I regard their opinion at the same level of my dermatologist. The reflexology treatments are worth the trip alone. The price is fair but they are certainly not a discount spa, and their product line is amongst the top in the world.

I walked in off the street and asked for a European facial, a one hour, $85 facial. The woman giving me the facial spent much of the hour telling me my skin needed special add-ons, from $20 for an eye treatment to $200 for some other special treatment. It was very uncomfortable and she never stopped upselling. When I left, she tried to sell me almost $300 worth of cleansers and made me feel like there was something wrong with me for not buying them. I will never go back there- while the facial was pretty good, the people were awful and the experience was not at all relaxing. I was very clear in what I wanted, there was no reason for them to keep pressuring me into something else. This is not a way to get return customers

I am thrilled with the positive changes I have experienced with my skin from facials at Eden Day Spa. I decided to follow the regime they suggested for my skin and I am very happy with the results! I have also had wonderful accupressure foot massages and the masseuse has incredible knowledge and hands. The owner is current on all the latest technology and truly only uses the finest products and it shows in the results you get! Plus my facialist really understands my skin and has recommended the right products for maximum results. Definitely worth the time and money.
