this location is particularly small which I prefer. during daytime hours its pretty empty and you can have access to any equipment you want...during rush hour 6-8 the cardio area is pretty busy but you have a 20min limit if someone is waiting I never had to wait there always seems to be enough machines but they are always usually full with one of two free throughout rush hour..the one thing I dont like is after someone uses them they dont always wipe them down but you get that anywhere really..i also like the privacy of the gym you dont have too many people staring at you or judging you everyone is there to do their own thing becuase its so small not like in the bigger gyms where people go to show off or just to walk around and pick up..i never feel insecure here and I hate co-ed gyms..all the equipment is new...the staff however is not that friendly its almost as if they want you to know they dont like being there...maybe they are underpaid who knows..but overall its a good place the changerooms are constantly cleaned by the cleaning lady who practically lives in there wiping everything down after someones used a sink and such..the showers are clean and the steam room and sauna are clean..no visible mold or nasty odors as some of the neglected gyms have. I cant comment on parking but I know its free I usually walk to this location unless i go to la cienega for the pool..wich has a large and great parking lot!

This is very dirty gym. The parking is particularly bad. Make sure you check it out during busy hours. If you wish to cancel, they make you send a letter to them via snail mail...why not online?...so they can lose your letter and make you even more upset with them...and then you will write a bad review of them like I am.

The LA fitness at Wilshire is the perfect place to work out and tone that body. Machines are always available, the trainers and staff are friendly. machines are new.
