I took college Pilate's courses and I loved going here after I finished the course. I was afraid it would be too easy because programs tend to do that with older clientele but it was great. Good work out!

I stumbled upon this find with a local school auction win; I had always wanted to try pilates. In a short series of classes, I felt a noticeable change! With a few more classes, I felt sleeker in my over-40 body! I was amazed at how much fun I was having too! Trusha and Jesse worked me hard while making me smile and laugh as the hour passed. I find myself missing the camraderie almost as much as the expert instruction. Pilates takes mental energy and the descriptive approaches given and encouragement along the way are best in class! Thank you to Cassidy and her tremendous staff! TRY THEM OUT!

I have been going to the Body Gallery regularly since October 2007. It is a quiet, serene and cozy studio. The place lives up to its name ??The art of Personalized Pilates?. My trainer, Jody, designs each session depending on how my body feels. Some days, I am stiffer (arthritis) and we do more stretching, some days I feel great and she works me out! I always feel like I am her only client, that??s how focused on me she is. As a result of my weekly visits, my body is much stronger, more flexible and looks a lot better. My arms and legs have long, strong muscles, my abs are finally getting strong! I have never liked exercise and now, I cannot live without my Pilates session. I joke that I feel just as good after Pilates than I do after a massage! I highly recommend the Body Gallery to anyone looking for personalized training.

Cassidy Moore, owner of the Body Gallery and my current instructor since December 2008, is one of the very few outstanding teachers I have had the pleasure to work with. Cassidy takes her work seriously. I am interested in the nuances of the Pilates method, not a mindless workout, and she provides the rigor that I require. She is the only teacher I've studied with who methodically builds a session to culminate in an advanced or super-advanced Pilates exercise. She does this by having me perform exercises during the hour that are components of, and lead up to, the "big one". When it is time to perform the advanced move, I understand it in my body and am able to perform with grace, control, and precision.
This is the quietest studio I have ever worked out in: there is always jazz, classical or other lovely music in the background, paintings or drawings from up and coming artists on the walls and sunlight streaming in through the curtains. Since there is at most one other trainer working with a client at the same time, one can really concentrate on the work at hand. It is a wonderful space made even more special by the quality of the instruction -- the studio really lives up to its title: The Art of Personalize Pilates.

I've been a client at the Body Gallery since 2002 and have had great experiences with all their trainers. The studio is a very quiet, calm space and all the trainers really know what they're doing. I had some major dance injuries and pilates has almost completely eliminated the pain from the injuries.

It is an oasis - the surroundings relaxing and the workouts refreshing and energizing. My instructors are better than I've found anywhere, personalized and specific to what I desire to get out of each session. I am a skier, surfer, and tri-athlete so at times, they are pushing me the distance to train and work parts of my body that need it for these sports. They have also been my champions in getting my strength back after knee surgery last year. My body and my spirit have benefitted exponentially through Pilates and I wouldn't trade my instructors, Sonya and Trusha, for anyone. They're both AWESOME, but I think all of the trainers there are wonderful. Cheers to this oasis in the city!

Definately deserves a title of "the best kept secret" in the city, I work with the owner of the studio Cassidy who is extremely skilled and an absolute pleasure to work with. Cassidy bring a delicate balance of professionalism and warmth unlike I have ever seen. I have been going to classes at the body gallery for over six years. I started due to some back pain from excess travel and a knee injury from tennis. I have had no injuries since and still do a lot of the same activities. The team has been with me through many life changes including marriage and children. I really do feel like it has been them with me along the way. We prepared for the wedding dress and later kept me in shape while I grew, and grew, with my first child. I felt confident and stress-free for the entire pregnancy thanks to several workouts a week stressing safety for mom and child while I continued to get a great workout. The team was there again and flexible around this new mom's schedule when I was ready to get back to my old clothes. While understanding my new limits, they never stopped encouraging and pushing me to dig a little deeper. While I never pictured myself as someone who would enjoy the gym workout versus outdoor pursuits and like a good workout, not a bunch of stretching, I love going to the body gallery. I work hard, get gently pushed to my limits and cannot wait to come back for more. It is hard work, just ask some of the fellows there. I leave feeling refreshed and fulfilled that is was time very well spent. I have been converted. From a runner and biker to a pilates devotee. FYI - the strength I have gained from pilates helps than running, skiing and biking a lot too as well as some pretty heavy toddler lifting.

I highly recommend The Body Gallery. I've been a client there for over 6 years, and have never once felt tempted to go anywhere else. As someone who was never a dedicated exerciser in the past, I got drawn in by how much I enjoyed their program, began to go regularly, and I continue to look forward to every session years later. I have gotten in the best physical shape of my life thanks to my instructors there. They are excellent - very knowledgeable about pilates and how the body works, and also really fun to work with. Plus the sunny studio is very intimate and relaxing - only a few people can work out at a time, and there's always a warm, calm, friendly feeling there. Very down-to-earth and personal, but incredibly professional at the same time.

Overall, I can't say enough great things about The Body Gallery - it's a wonderful place to discover pilates as a beginner AND to challenge yourself if you're more advanced. In my opinion, they are a true "find" in a city full of larger, more "health-club" type options.

I have gotten in the best physical shape of my life thanks to my instructors there. They are excellent - very knowledgeable about pilates and how the body works, and also really fun to work with. Plus the sunny studio is very intimate and relaxing - only a few people can work out at a time, and there's always a warm, calm, friendly feeling there. Very down-to-earth and personal, but incredibly professional at the same time.

Overall, I can't say enough great things about The Body Gallery - it's a wonderful place to discover pilates as a beginner AND to challenge yourself if you're more advanced. In my opinion, they are a true "find" in a city full of larger, more "health-club" type options.
