Best Western-Sunset Plaza

I agree with the previous review.. I went on CitySearch, Expedia, Tripadvisor, AND Travelocity to compare hotels and this Best Western has the best consistent reviews I've seen. And it's true - the Sunset Plaza Hotel has great views, a great location, a beautiful pool, large clean and beautiful rooms, and EXCELLENT service. Stay here for a short getaway or if you are visiting L.A. and want the best accomodations in Hollywood area for touristy things..

This place made our anniversary weekend absolutely amazing.. Trust me, I was very hesitant that a Best Western could be romantic but I decided to trust the reviews and they were very very right. We had the spa suite which had a HUGE jacuzzi tub and a HUGE romantic balcony with open sky view (no roof over it). It was like a romeo & juliet balcony with plants and columns.. But it's in the back so it was isolated and with gorgeous views and nothing to hear except for birds chirping.. At night it got a bit loud because of the valet parking and crowds next door at the House of Blues but it was ok for us because we weren't sleeping anyway ;) .. When you go to the pool it is BEAUTIFUL .. it's isolated, greatly decorated, and looks like the most beauitful courtyard from Italy!! Would love to have a wedding there. BTW the maid has drinks that people leave behind - and gave us beers and vodka for FREE (but tip her SOMETHING of course).
