Not worth the effort  1 Star Rating - Unsatisfactory

Old fashion styled burgers that taste like the griddle has never been cleaned. There are so many other better places to go for food and beer nearby. I would not return to the "O" even on someone else's dime.

Good for what it is  4 Star Rating - Very good

The Oasis is a great place to have a burger and a beer...or pizza and a beer if you'd prefer. It is what you should expect from a place where the tables and benches are carved with years of diner's names. The service is quick and the burgers are good. Greasy, but that's how they should be sometimes... They always have sports events playing on their multiple TVs so you can drop by to catch the game while sipping a brew and chowing down. The Oasis is a town staple.

PROS: fast, cheap
CONS: not healthy

Great for VERY casual dining  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

The "O" has been around for years. It is great to go there with a group and/or kids. Be prepared there are picnic tables and peanut shells on the floor, but that is part of their charm.

They have great hamburgers, but really try the pizza. It's very good.

PROS: Outdoor seating
CONS:

Oasis....  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

The Oasis is not my favorite place. I like to be in aplace thats pleasing to the eye and clean. You can't really call this place clean. There is a custom of throwing your peanut shells on the floor for one. And then all the other dirt that around gets camoflouged on the shells. I dont really feel comfortable. The nice thing is that they are very versatile for gorups sizes, you can be alone or with a large group. The beer is pretty cheap, wouldn't say that they have my favorites though. Foodwise they have burgers (thats the only thing I've tried). They are ok, but I wonder what they are made of.

bar  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

Yup, the Oasis is just a bar. Underaged are only welcome during certain hours. Apparently it is customary just to throw your empty peanut shells on the floor, so the place gets REALLY dirty. Some people get kinda drunk there. Yes, you can order food but its not very good, and not good quality at all. But what do you want from a bar? At least its better than just drinkking on an emprty stomach. So, not the most pleasant place to be in, but hey! Its a bar.

Good Scene, A Bit Pricey for Food  4 Star Rating - Very good

The Oasis has a great ambience, and is a great place to go for a fun burgers & beer hang with friends. The cheap pitchers are about the lowest priced you can find is this area, especially for domestics. The food is overpriced by a couple bucks for what you get, but at least it's pretty good. The dining area setup is great for both small and large groups.

PROS: Cheap beer, good for groups
CONS: Food is too expensive

The "O"  5 Star Rating - World class

This is not a balanced review. I grew up on the O. My mom and dad would take my siblings and me when we were young.

So forgive me if I don't see what's wrong with the ancient woodwork with thousands of students' names carved into it, the stink of spilled beer, the solid layer of peanut shells left on the floor, the loud drunk patrons, the old beat up video games, or the artery-busting pizzas and burgers. To me, it's home.
