Kids love it, they can play here for hours and hours. Lots of very interesting ideas which make the kids think how did they do that and invite them to try it out as well.

Highly recommend. This museum is a really nice place to visit, specially if you are into tech stuffs. Also, don't forget to visit the IMAX theater. IMAX is a great experience, if you have never watch movie in one before.
By the way, for those who don't know, you can get a discount card from the library, which let you buy an ticket to the museum at $3.

PROS: IMAX, tech stuffs, and a lot more, go there and find out for yourself

This is a great place to take children ages 7+. Most of the science exhibits are hands on and they really explain things in an age appropriate manner. Hours and hours of fun is had at this museum. When you're ready for a break, walk on over to the IMax theatre for a big treat!

The exhibitions were creative and interesting. We designed a rollercoster, designed a bike and had 3D photos taken of the family. Lots of tech history. We also went to the IMax and saw a great movie on the Mars rover. Everyone had a fun afternoon; we're likely to join as members as there was too much to see in a few hours.

Fun place, makes you think about a lot of stuff. Fun for the kids to learn and figure things out about how things work.

We like mars probe and underwater sub. Can easily spend the day then hit one of San Jose's downtown restaurant's or head over for a drink at a nearby hotel across the street.

If you are looking to take ur children for a trip and teach them at the same time...u might want to consider taking them to the Tech Museum!!! It's a wonderful place bursting with science experiements that u can try out yourself. after you have had a science lesson, u can go ahead and enjoy a movie with your family at the IMAX theatres!!! Must try out the jet-pack chair!!!!!
