Mama Carpino's Italian

mama carpinos has really come along. It started out pretty tiny hard to get a table at times, but they have expanded and the addition is gorgeous. The food is always good and the staff is so friendly they really treat you like family. Tom and his son make an extra effort to visit the tables and personally make sure their customers are happy. You wont be dissapointed

Cons: sometimes a bit of a wait

This is my favorite Italian food place in the high desert. The service is wonderful, the atmosphere is very pretty and romantic. I love the vegetarian cheese lasagna. It can get busy so sometimes there is a little bit of a wait. They even have either own bakery.

I ordered the penne arribiata and my girlfriend had the vegitarian lasagna. Both were really good. Her lasagna was huge and very flavorful. The best Italian I've had in the High Desert! There's a deli connected to the restaurant and parking in the rear.

Pros: inexpensive, decent italian

Cons: bit hard to find
