Duran's Flowers

From the some of the recent Valentine's Day reviews, it looks like the guys at Duran screwed up that day and were overwhelmed with orders they shouldn't have taken and couldn't handle. I don't blame those people for being angry.

I just want to say that I have used these guys lots of times on days other than Valentine's Day, and everything went fine and the flowers were generally much better than I have gotten from other florists. Maybe they deserve a second chance (just not on Valentine's Day).

IF I CAN, THIS PLACE DESERVES -1 STARS!!! My boyfriend ordered flowers on V-day. They promised a 11 am delivery to my work-. At noon I called my boyfriend to say Hi, and he asked if I liked the flowers; I responded, "What flowers"??? And thats when things got fishy. He called Duran's to ask if the flowers were on the way. They told him that they are 2 miles away and they should be there soon (mind you, I work 5 minutes away). 5 o'clock rolls by and I need to head out. My bf calls again and now they are saying that they can't make it so they will deliver to my house. I get home around 5:30 and no flowers yet. We go out to dinner, come back around 10 and still no flowers. We call the next morning and ask them to cancel the Credit card transaction since we never recieved the bouquet. They still charge it. Now, 4 months later, we are still disputing the charge with the bank, and the shop. This place is a TOTAL SCAM!! You have been warned.

I will never order flowers from you again. My partner ordered flowers from you and aside from being 5 days late, they weren't even fresh. I liked the ones she brought me from downtown way better.

I just want to express my deep disappointment with your services. I read the reviews on the internet and if I could I would definitely post this. You guys suck. My partner did not receive the flowers that I paid for on February 11th on valentines day. When I called in on Friday the 15th I was told I could have an in-store credit but I would not be able to get my money refunded to my credit card. What lu lu promised was to make up for it by delivering flowers that were better than I paid for. She suggested an exotic arrangement, I wanted roses. Since my partner would not be back at work until Tuesday, feb. 19th, lulu agreed to have the flowers sent to my partner between 9 and 12 that day. At 12:45 I called, lu lu was gone and I spoke to mike ran down the situation and he delivered 23 roses to my partnerwithout a card within 30 minutes. How nice. Well they were ugly. I took pictures of this arrangement when I went to pick her up yesterday, there were several ripped up leaves and the flowers looked like they were left over from valentines day. I have purchased roses from the flower mart downtown several times since my partner and I have been together and they have never looked like this. How embarrassing that you are allowed to stay in business.

My husband ordered flowers for Valentine's Day from Duran's. He placed the order just after New Years. We had ordered from them before and received a beautiful arrangement. However on Valentine's Day that was not the case. My husband ordered 2 dozen roses and was told they would be delivered between 10 and 2 on V-Day. About 3:30 he called and asked if I had received them. I said no. He called Duran's about 4pm and was literally given the run around which is bad but not quite as bad as when they hung up on him without giving an answer as to where the flowers were. About 7:30 that night we were called and told some obviously fake story about a van accident and would we like 4 dozen on Feb 15. Our answer was an obvious, "NO please refund our money." It is one thing to not be able to do what was promised, but to lie about it and make up a story? I mean if there was a van accident don't you think they would have known about it at 4pm? Since the delivery was promised between 10-2 this just didn't fly. Anyhow i would caution anyone from using Duran's under time or date sensitive conditions (mother's day, valentine's day, flag day, groundhog day) really any day. I don't trust people who over promise and then don't deliver and don't own the failure to do so.

CONS: Disorganized at best

The flower arrangements that these guys make are just absolutely stunning. The customer service is just plain awesome and I never have any problems. I have seen the end result when I send people flowers and I am never dissapointed with them. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is thinking of ordering flowers for a friend or loved one.

I am very happy with the work that Duran's Flowers did for the funeral of a family member. We wanted flowers to symbolize the great life he had led and told Duran's Flowers exactly how we would like the flowers to be, including a heart display to be placed the front with a picture with the deceased. They gave us a few extra arrangements to place next to that display and were very respectful throughout the whole process.

My mother's mother's day wouldn't be the same if I didn't get flowers from here, whenever I come home to her for her special day. LARGE and -fresh- flowers that are meticulously kept, and lovingly arranged. I have on occassion ordered flowers from the internet instead, but there is nothing like seeing the arrangements at Duran's and choosing them yourself based on the color, freshness and strength of their flowers!

I have sent flowers from this flower shop in Pasadena. They are always super fresh and always beautiful. The employees here are super friendly too. The prices are pretty decent and they also deliver the flowers. This flower shop has one of the nicest flower arrangements ive ever seen. I recommend!

These people are open after you get off work. That is a big deal. They are understandingof time constraints and very helpful, not to mention good at what they do! The displays they make are beautiful and rates are negotiable/reasonable.

A guy recently sent me flowers from this florist, and they were beautiful. I enjoyed the so very much! Wonderful I would recommend them very highly! He told me that he had made a special request of colors & folowers and they gave him no trouble at all. In fact, they were happy to hear his request. The arrangement was beautiful and stayed fresh for so long! They offer unique arrangements.

I used them once,,for my grandpa`s furneral. He lived in California,,,so was so nice, when I heard that , they could help. Very nice arrangement, and reasonable prices. Not too high, as far as what product, you receive!! AA+++ service and very friendly atmosphere. Will definetly use in the future, If I`m needing any services in California. I recently received flowers sent to me from a friend from this florist, and they were beautiful. I enjoyed the so very much! Wonderful I would recommend them very highly! Just tell them what you want thecan make it for and send it where ever you want it to be sent. One of a kind arrangements, fresh flowers that look just picked, almost any arrangement you can think of they can do. And I love to just stop by and get flowrs for vases and table arrangements at home-especially when I am going to entertain, that makes such a difference in how your dining table looks. And all the beautiful colors and ways of arranging flowers. I have used many florist in several areas and Duran's Flowers is one of the best that I have found.There is nothing anymore beautiful that a nice floral arrangment to bright your day or the day of a friend or a love one.

I've purchased some very nice flowers from Duran's. They were quite accommodating to a special request that I had.

The guys here are fantastic. They have flower arrangements made to pick up or will design one for you on the spot. It is the only flower shop that is open past 5pm in Pasadena that I could find.

Everyone loves them. Convenient, open late. Flowers are fresh. They are very customer friendly. Excellent.
