Can't pronounce the name, but the food is great

by Bill M.

The portions here are HUGE. Don't order the carne asada fries unless you brought friends, it is a monster. The breakfast burrito is the perfect hang over cure, huge and full beans and eggs!

The menu is typical for a Mexican fast food place, but the size of the portions really makes this place stand out. No drive through, but it's worth the trip from the car for one of the carne asada burritos!

The service is quick and friendly so the no drive thru is really a non-issue.

Perfect Late Night Snack

by Yao L. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 7,415

Perfect late night snack especially after a night of long studying, Carne Asada fries are a must try although you get the most bang for your buck when you get the Nachos especial!

Satisfy your late night cravings with this 24 hr Mexican place

by Arlene K. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 7,822

El Coti's is a great place to get good cheap mexican food. They are open 24 hours every day. I drove by once after a New Years party and they were open!!! Lots of people like their carne asada fries. Their burritos are HUGE, two people can definately share. Be sure to get some hot sauce if you order to go!

Excellent Hot sauce! Great Tasting Food

by Michael R. | insider Insider | Rank: 21,042

When I first moved out to the La Jolla area, this was the first taco shop I visited. I heard that the hot sauce was really good so I decided to go. The food was excellent and the hot sauce was great as well. The super nachos are the biggest nachos I have ever seen and well worth the money. However, they only take cash which is a bummer for me. The place itself is alright, but nothing to be excited about. This is a great place for college kids looking for a midnight snack!

PROS: Great Hot sauce and great food, good prices
CONS: doesn't take credit!
