I have been to left bank once and I was not too impressed with it. You always see people sitting outside, chatting, poeple at the bar. It lokks very alluring, but I think only in good company. The food isnt really that good, and its kind of expencive because of its downtown location. They dont really specialize in anything, its all kind of random. I dont really think of my experience here as that enjoyable, but it wasnt bad either. I would be willing to give it another try.
