not a place to get food or drinks. service was not impressive at all. menu was not impressive either. i have always heard good things about this place, but i would not go back!

My husband and I have been going to Tia Margarita on and off for many years. We hadn't been there for about a year and went a few nights ago. We were both looking forward to a good margarita. I ordered a regular and my husband ordered a double ($9!) and after the first sip we both looked at each other in disappointment. They were so sweet and it seemed like the bartender had forgotten to put the tequila in. It tasted like we were drinking just plain margarita mix. The food was good as it has always been. We still love the restaurant but don't really want to go there if they don't serve a good margarita because that's a huge part of a great Mexican meal for us.

Love the margaritas here. The food isn't so bad either. Ambiance is simple. Mood is mellow. Good for parties or just for two. Must have the strawberry or pineapple margaritas. They are so yummy.
