The sushi here is really good and has a modern kick to it. The atmosphere is very warm and they have great customer service. The only thing I have to say about this place that is bad is that it's a little pricey :(

Moki's moved down the street to a larger location, it's a local gem of the Bernal Heights area. The rolls are more innovative than usual - take the Drum Roll with mango or the Moki Special with jalepeno - you might thnk it's strange but

I've been eating sushi for over 20 years and I have to say I gotten a little bored with precious, completely authentic and generally overpriced sushi. Food, like art, is not static and it's great to try the innovative/funky combinations

Last Tuesday, my friend took me for my first time at Moki's new location on Cortland. Everything we had was so good. The blue cheese pear salad was excellent as was the delicious drum roll which is crab mix, mango and mint. Also enjoyed

Pros: Tasty and consistently good food, cute servers and sushi chefs

Cons: Often crowded, but worth the wait

I love sushi and this place was so far below average, it's not even worth a shot. I went with a group so we sampled a pretty good % of the menu, and there was nothing good to report. The mango/ahi spring rolls tasted like bitter cabbage

I have had sushi here close to 20 times and while the fish is the best, the service is severely lacking. Last night I waited 20 minutes for the server to even come to the table and then another 45 to order desert. Sure it is busy but not

This is a great sushi place if you don't eat fish. They have many varieties of veggie nigiri and maki, including several unusual specialty rolls. However, it is an outstanding sushi place for meat-eaters as well. I've never tried

Woa, this place has a gorgeous staff and amazing food - the pear and blue cheese salad was inspiring, and the ecstasy, riptide and bernal rolls really ripped. Everyone in our group loved the mix of small plates and super fresh sushi -

We have tried sushi all over the city, and we consistently love Moki! The fish is fresh and the creations are original. We love the Hawaiian feel to the place. If you haven't been, definitely give it a try. The ectasy roll is FABULOUS.

Seriously, there's a lot of hype over blowfish and ebisu. Good I'll grant you. But Moki's is the BEST sushi joint in the bay area. The sushi is unique and delicious. The service is friendly. The atmosphere welcoming. Awesome that I can

Moki's mediocre sushi doesn't live up to the hype. Decent quality, kinda fresh, but nothing extroardinary to justify the long wait. Their fusion-y rolls fell victim to excess: a roll w/ unagi, cream cheese, and mango had so much cream

I thought the food here is pretty decent by San Francisco standard, but the strong point here is the service. The price is a bit on the expensive side considering you do not get rice or soup with the sashimi special which costs $17.95!
