The staff from top to bottom are very kind and very passionate about their work. The prices are a bit steep but the facility makes up for it - modern up to date and extremely clean.

I have been taking my 3 dogs to the Drake Center for years. They have modern equipment in the clinic. You can have all the equipment in the world, but at the end of the day, it is the people that make a business great.
The receptionists are friendly and helpful. They answer phones quickly, so I am never on hold for very long.
The doctors and technicians are open, friendly, and compassionate. I can tell that they really love my dogs. My dogs love them, too. They always put the health of my animal first. I even had one of their doctors call me on his day off to update me on my dogs blood work. And this is from a routine checkup. I know that if ever my animals are in real need for their help, my dogs will be in good hands.
You can find cheaper clinics but you get what you pay for and the Drake Center is First Class.
PROS: Best vet clinic in San Diego
CONS: Higher end practice that costs a little more

We've been taking our cat to this vet center for years and have been pleased with them so far. They recently remodeled their office and we haven't been there since then, but it looks great from the outside.
The vets we've seen are friendly and competent; they notice issues with the cat that have come up like a tooth she has a problem with. They do advise on what to do, but accept if you're not willing to do it either which is nice.
