This is My first choice to go buy a gift!! Teachers Love getting Gift Certificate's from here.When my no 18 yr.old was in pre-school he won $200.00 worth of "Thomas the Train" items here!!!!And his pre-school did too!!! My daughter also loved sticker sale days...I send any new Grandparent, Aunt and Uncle here when they want to find "fun" items .Staff is ALWAYS willing to help.Miss having Authors and Illustrators going in to might the the kids... we have Lots of books signed for my kids and for family and friends...Betty,the owner, is always there with a SMILE.... we love her and the staff.

The book staff is just tremendous. This is a one stop shopping place for choosing, buying and gift wrapping (free). I go there before all of my birthday parties. They also help out the local schools by doing book fairs.

They are probably the only business in the area that sells the Brio wooden trains, which my son and I absolutely love. Along with that, they have an excellent selection of children's books, a wide variety of non-violent toys, and excellent customer service. They are willing to order any book or toy that they don't have in stock. They don't offer any of the newer and albiet waste-of-time electronic toys or action figures. Parking is excellent. Prices are MSRP. Often, they have themed days (such as a Harry Potter slumber party) which are a lot of fun!

All kids seem to play with nowadays are digital, electronic, or violent; this place sells some awesome children's toys and books that are high quality entertainment without being the same old videogames. Great, highly recommended.

This place sells all the books and toys that you would never be able to find anywhere else.
I don't know if it was the same owners, but this place has been here since I was a kid and it has always had a wonderful child-friendly ambience!

I grew up going to the Toy and Book Store and have always loved all the cute toys they have all over. There are arts and craft kits, stuffed animals, dolls, and so much more. This is a quality place to bring your kids and a great store for all kinds of gifts. They even wrap any of your purchases for free!!!

CONS: Nothing

The place is well organized and has all the latest as well as classic children's literature. Good place to go to look for presents for little 'uns. Packed during Christmas (but aren't they all?) and nice place to look for older items that aren't at WallMarts/Target's/ToysRUs anymore.
