Dittmer's Gourmet Meats

Finest hams, sausages and meats I have ever had. Dittmer and his son Mark are personally responsible for at least 5 inches of my excess girth over the last 20 tears.

When you need a great cut of meat go there!! They do an excellent job helping you pick the meat you need for your cooking. Their meats, sausages and cold cuts are first rate.

I've been going to Dittmer's since 1990 and have never been disappointed. It's fortunate to have such a resource for genuine German food so conveniently located. Highly recommend.

Dittmers is a German style butcher shop. As soon as you walk in the store you smell their great smoked meats. If you are looking for sausages, great meats or wonderful sandwiches you will not be disappointed. The quality and taste are great. They also get fresh deliveries of a big selection of German bread, rolls and pretzels daily which are a great treat. An excellent assortment of German chocolates, coffee and other "must haves" from Germany complete their selection.

I cannot think of a better place to pick wurst. You walk in and you feel like you're Bavaria. Every single product is a product a German would be proud to eat: sauerkraut, dark ryes, bitter candy, the works! This is a fabulous place to stock up for your next BBQ.

Dittmers is a family-owned German deli in the Valley that offers a variety of some of the best smoked meats outside of Bavaria. All of the meat is cured and smoked at Dittmers meaning it's fresh and super high quality. I recently went at lunch and sampled a smoked turkey on pumpernickle and a polish sausage with sauerkraut which were both excellent. This stuff is just as good as my grandmother from Berlin makes, and with half the attitude. And while you're waiting for your chow they give you plenty of free samples. This place really is genius. If you are planning on having a party I recommend ordering some of the smoked pork chops and sheboygan brats, get a few pints of kraut and get ready for some tastiness.
