i'm not much for burgers. i tend to only like burgers that are home made and bar-b-qued in my own backyard. but, i was brought here with a group of people that really wanted this, so i had no choice. i decided to try a burger out. to my surprise i really liked it. they were juicy and tasty and i would definitely come back.

Taxi's is a great place to get a good hamburger. They have many options on their menu. They also have terrific milkshakes. This is a great family restaurant with good food, jukeboxes, and fun.

If you want a family style burger place head to Taxi's on El Camino in San Mateo. I like their avocado/jack burger and the North Beach w/ a basil-pesto aioli. The kids love to pick out the 50"s music at the table and they love the shakes. Adults can indulge in a beer or two and not worry about the kids being too noisy. The staff is so-so and the prices are ok.

My family and I like this place a lot. There are a lot of choices on their menu & I haven't picked a bad thing yet. Their parking lot is easy to get in and out of and their prices are reasonable considering the quality of their food. The last few times I'd been there during lunch there was a line at the register so arrive early for lunch if possible.

Hands down Taxi is the best burger restaurant in town. Fuddrockers, Johnny Rockets, and Island's doesn't even come close to Taxi burgers.
