Ratings_icons Ichiban Pb is good

Nicole K.

If you are looking for some inexpensive sushi, then this is the place to go. Not the freshest fish, however overall there are some good bites and the service is good.

Ratings_icons Super Cheap

I LOVE Ichiban. They have the best sushi ever, fresh, tasty and so cheap. Honestly, I don't think there's any place that have cheaper sushi with that great quality. Try Ichiban's Bento box and you will love it. The sashimi diches are so fresh and so good.
The decoration is nice and friendly with japanese pictures. They also have a shopwindown to present those Bento and Sushi places. The service is OK for me but not great.
If I want sushi, Ichiban will be the place.

Ratings_icons Great prices, good sushi

The sushi is good, not superior quality, but good, and definitely a good value. Bento boxes are a rip off though, because they come with a lot of rice, a fair amount of tempura, and like 2 pieces of sushi. Friendly service and nice interior.

Cheap and their combo plates are a good deal! They always have daily specials and recently went from no cash to accepting credit cards! There are several locations in San Diego.

Ratings_icons Good Sushi, Great Prices!

Julie C. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 538

Gotta love fast food sushi! Ichiban has several locations and they are all pretty good. The best part about these restaurants is that you get pretty good for for a great price...and even though you sit down for dinner, it's not a "sit down" type of restuarant, its very casual. They sell other Japanese dishes beside sushi... all of which are good. Ichiban can get crowded and sometimes you will have to wait for a seat (peak hours).
